Guest as Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Me + a few others. Pint in thirsty scholar before getting the train up. ALRIIIIIIIITE MAAAAATE! Beginning to hate city fans in manc more than the munichs. Few wins and they think theyre winning the league. At no point last year when we were 3rd/4th whatever were any of us deluded enough to think we had a chance of getting the title (i hope not anyway!!!) Yep - that's city for you. Some are level-headed and admit they've never been one of the big clubs..................but the majority live in some f?cking Mancunian dreamworld & go on and on and on and on and on about how many fans they've got and how they deserve a title :::::::::: Who's more deluded City or Newcastle? Now that is a tricky question!
Mounts Kipper Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/wanderers/w..._sale_today.php Bolton expecting 15,000, that includes 5500 official city fans and I would estimate another 1500 in the home end, so only 8000 home fans on I find it incredible that we can only muster 8000 home fans we had more than that in the old division 3, the fans are are going to take this club back to the dark days, let us not hear one more word about the clubs lack of ambition we the fans are to blame. Mike Hunt Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I'll be there, but no sprog in tow for this one. On the BN page above saying a crowd of 15,000, there is a post saying that the ticket office refused to sell tickets to a first time buyer - surely not?

Carlos Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 thats probably true i think you need to be on their database - ie back of fag packet Quite right too. IAMIN anyway.
enzo gambaro Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) let us not hear one more word about the clubs lack of ambition we the fans are to blame. The team we fielded in the previous round suggests the club has no ambition whatsoever as far as this competition is concerned. The club should be eternally grateful that there are 15000 mugs prepared to give up time and money to watch a game they won't be trying to win. Edited October 30, 2007 by enzo gambaro
Doctor Tongue Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Me , Tongue senior and junior - if Tongue Senior got the tickets that is, dont get back until 2 hours before kick off

Casino Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Ali Al Habsi, Nicky Hunt, Abdoulaye Meite, Lubomir Michalik, Gerald Cid, Gavin McCann, Mikel Alonso, Guthrie, Christian Wilhelmsson, Daniel Braaten and Kevin Davies It's hardly the youth team 6 of em are full internationals

droywhite Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 The lack of numbers attending, no matter what peoples excuses are, is a disappointment. Unless we can increase our fan base, we are getting what we deserve I have just been up for my tickets, 2 people refused as they had not bought tickets before.
Carlos Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I have just been up for my tickets, 2 people refused as they had not bought tickets before. And why would you attempt to buy tickets for this game when you've never been before? They couldn't be more City if they were carrying inflatable bananas and singing Blue Moon.

Smiley Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 They're 15 quid whoever you are. Err, its actually FREE with a 3 course meal and plenty of ale thrown-in for good measure. Freeloaders-R-Us
MickyD Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Not me and not +anyone. I'm doing what Bolton Wanderers should be doing; concentrating on the league!
YATESY Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Bolton expecting 15,000, that includes 5500 official city fans and I would estimate another 1500 in the home end, so only 8000 home fans on I Not sure how that is possible as we have only been selling tickets to punters who have previously bought tickets at Bolton. Sure, there will be a few in the home end but nowhere near 500 - never mind 1500.

Sure, there will be a few in the home end but nowhere near 500 - never mind 1500. Some people are buying tickets for their City supporting mates. People like me. I couldn't care less.
