From Rivals:

There is no excuse for him, he's useless. He was found out in his last 6 months with Bolton and he's beig found out with us.

1 point from 12, playing worse than I've ever seen us play...we don't look capable of troubling anyone in this league.

Is this acceptable? Is this not worth worrying about? Because it's getting worse and worse and shows no sign of changing at all. When is the time to panic? When there's nothing left to play for except survival?

I'm sorry but anybody who thinks Allardyce deserves more time is totally deluded!!! You have no idea....just look at the state of us, we're DREADFUL! We're appalling, even Derby outplayed us...we're the only team they've beat! We're just shocking, there no sign of any improvement and no sign of things getting any better....there's no excuse! We should be at least a bit better surely? We're worse than last season! Worse than under Souness and Roeder and we're not even trying to play any football whatsoever.

We're doomed with Allardyce, and only the most idiotic would believe that Allardyce will take us where we should be...his style of football doesn;t work anymore...the tactic has been identified and teams work around it now...yet our idiot of a manager keeps playing that way, on and on and on regardless of the scoreline.

ALLARDYCE OUT! Stop defending this useless idiot. Look what Sven did in 4 months....compare that with us! Wigan sacked their manager for less than Allardyce has done......stop being so deluded and sack the pathetic lunatic! There is no excusing him

We have the wrong manager...stability is ridiculous with the wrong manager, you're just allowing yourself to fall further and further blindly believing that one day our manager might totally change?! YOU'RE DELUDED!!!

I'm just freaking out at how so many people are so deluded...tell me what you see that suggests Allardyce has made a positive impression on the team and signs he's going to turn us around?!

Sorry if I'm offending anyone, it's not a personal insult I just can't comprehend how so many are trying to defend the indefendable!

ALLARDYCE OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah! The best supporters in the world being unsupportive as usual. Newcastle will never win anything because a few bad games and the fans are on the teams back and calling for the managers head.

Allardyce needs time to shape the team as any new manager will, unfortunantly for him Newcastle fans aren't patient enough, you have to break a few eggs.... and all that. He will be gone by Jan, what a shame. :yahoo:

Allardyce was a tremendous manager for us (as well as a great player for our team) and he turned BWFC into something I thought I would never see in my lifetime (UEFA entrants)

He moved on because he was sick of the lack of ambition from Bolton and was given the opportunity to manage at a much higher level financial wise

I really don't understand the bitterness towards him

I will always be grateful for what he's done and wish him every success

What about him needing a break from football then turning up a week later in a Newcastle United tie?

Him saying he left us in our best ever position, then personally breaking it up?

Also going back on his gentleman agreement not take take any of the staff?

"After guiding the team into a position where the club is on the verge of qualifying for European football for the second time in three years, I feel it is the right moment to step down.

"I feel the club is in a great position to continue its upward trajectory, with a talented squad supported by an excellent Academy programme under the guidance of a highly-skilled management team.

"The foundations for the next phase are well and truly in place. It is with this knowledge that I feel confident that I am moving on with my life, content with a legacy that I have tried to create for this special club.

"I wish the owner, chairman, staff, players and all the fans every success in the future."

I am gratefull for everything he did whilst he was here and I was his biggest fan whilst he was, but you don't $hit on your own doorstep. It will make my day when he gets sacked.

I haven't read any of those quotes that I disagree with, Needing a break from football is clique talk meaning I moving on

Fat Phil was shocking in his assessment of Sam after he left, whilst I understand why he did it i.e to motivate Sammy Lee, he was wrong in my opinion

At the end of the day he is employed by his chairman and whatever you believe, he's been promoted to a bigger club

I have no loyalty to my Chairman as he'd sh?t on me just as quick as I'd sh?t on him

To expect loyalty in football is naive to say the least, I am merely judging him on results and a top 8 finish on 3 consecutive seasons with the resources we had available (excluding Anelka) is nothing short of a miracle

Take away your biased view about the way he left and you have the most successful manager in modern day BWFC history

Again, I'll reiterate, I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for what Samuel Allardyce did for Bolton Wanderers

We are an inambitious club, with a chairman who's happy with mediocricy, Sam helped me fulfill a dream and I still have the upmost respect of what he did for the club

Tell me anybody in football who isn't, in fact tell me anybody who doesn't lie as part of their daily job be it little white lies or huge self saving b?llocks

if you feel that Sam didn't do a great job for us that you should be taken to the tower with Tony C

It's not difficult to understand

fook me widnes, what are you on tonight

football related posts

for what its worth i agree with you in so much as allardyce was the best manager in our lifetimes and if megson gets close to being as successful, i'll join you up the back end of a goat

however, he made a dick of himself at the end

so, in the words of duncan, for that reason, he can fcuk riiiiiiiiiiiight off

oh aye, and bollocks we're unambitious

Well Megson for a start is rhetorical, whether he does a good job or not he wasn't the right person (based on performance)

If he turns out to be a great manager then that will be purely down to good fortune rather than a stroke of genius by fatty

And to judge Sam on the last month of his career is utter f?cking nonsense and I expect better from you

He was looking for a way out as soon as he felt the time was right. The one thing he did right ... he took as far has he could .. this is ultimately as far he can take Newcastle too ..... what goes around comes around ...... just remember the best chance we had to win a trophy in recent times he blew against 'McClown'.

Says it all ......
