The huge Carlsberg tanker parked on Piccadily Gardens and the beer tent look the business, think I'll be up there tomorrow lunch time for a couple! Sample the 'what could have been' atmosphere!

Would I have taken Wed/Thu/Fri off for it? Would I have stayed overnight in Manchester? Where would we have congregated? All far too close to home and not very European at all. Saying that - a train fare to Man vs overpriced flights & accomm in Moscow - I know which one my bank balance would favour.

I bet the Zenit fans are having a top time. English & Scottish cities and stadia deserve to host major Euro finals, but its just a bit crappy if you get there.

Monday night saw 4 sweaties. Today/tonight (7.00 pm when I left) saw no more than 30. Piss poor shithouses its a similar turnout to us in Serbia. SSM back & ITK
