Traf Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Getting beat 2-0 with 18 minutes left. Power cut match abandoned replay next Tuesday, nothing fishy going on there then. Good lads, well done.
Wigan White Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Should just paly the remaining time left!! then it cant be bolloxed again!!
fruitbat69 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 This has got more twists and turns than our Swindon league cup game all those years. How many games did we have with that one ? It is a tie that will never get finished.
Guest bwfcdan Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 The suspicious thing is it was due to an electrition trying to fix a light in the club bar. At 9:30 at night during one of their biggest games ever. ::
peebles Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 My boss drove through Droylsden this morning. Apparently traffic lights still out etc.
Rembrandt Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I left the ground soon after the floodlights went out - had a feeling it wasn't going to re-start. All for a visit to Portman Road ....... talking of a 'carve up' and something 'fishy going on' !
Smiffs Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I read it and thought 'bollo?cks!!' straight away. Droysden's mon was on telly before the game saying the next round pay day would keep the club going until whenever. Proper wonky, and fair f?cks to em!! No idea what the Droylsden chairman looks like but I will hazard a guess.....
Traf Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Should just paly the remaining time left!! then it cant be bolloxed again!! If that's the case, don't forget Droylsden were leading in the original abandoned game.
Gumbo Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Was speaking to Droylsden's keeper last night! Upon asking who was holding the light bulb his response was 'ive no idea, i couldnt believe it' with a huge smile on his face! He claimed that the incident at Chesterfield was just as dodgy and its got tit for tat chairman to chairman! All for a trip to Ipswich! It has been mentioned that the next game may be played at a neutral venue...
Carlos Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I'm up for the replay if you get them back home, dirty cheating carrot crunching yokels.
Happy Wanderer Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Adopt a team this Christmas.... Come on Droylsden
YATESY Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Surprise surprise, with the men from the Butchers Arms winning last night the floodlights lasted the 90 minutes
no balls Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I shall bring my little Angel as mascot. She was born there!
Eddie Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Not over yet, they played an inelligable player.
droywhite Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Probably going to get thrown out as Sean Newton was banned for getting 5 yellow cards, his ban should of started yesterday.
droywhite Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 He wasn't influential he only scored both goals ::

Zozzy Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Yet more twists and turns, you couldnt make it up, whats going to happen in the next installment from the tie? Droylsden disqualified Chesterfield go through to next round
Rembrandt Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Droylsden disqualified Chesterfield go through to next round Bit previous there, Zoz ? FA site says : "The matter will be dealt with by an FA Cup Committee hearing on Monday 29 December, in order to resolve it before the FA Cup Third Round match against Ipswich Town on 3 January 2009." Sounds very likely though ...... what a fook-up after a historic acheivement.
no balls Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Bucketshakers got kicked out for a ineligible player did they not?
