In addition to the ones already mentioned and going back a bit further: Tommy Banks in the Burnden Paddock shouting "Take the Bum off" after John Manning had been caught offside for the umpteenth time. Alan Gowling was a regular in the Manny Road stand in the 90s. Just lately Julian Darby (Known as Jules at Burnden Park) sits two rows in front of me in West Stand Upper. I also saw Chic Charnley once in the West Stand upper about five years ago.

I remember when Mark Hughes was at Man U, he used to be mates with Tony Caldwell and came to watch him a few times at Burnden. He actually came in the King Bill before one match for a couple of pints.

I saw John McGinlay sat in the stands at Wolves once. At Half Time he stood up to either go for a piss or a drink but was surrounded by people wanting autographs. He patiently signed every one and posed for photos and by that time half time was over. John simply didn't bother doing what he was going to do but sat down again for the second half. Great guy.

Alan Thompson was at Wembley when we played Villa in the semi final.

John McGinlay spent most of our first Premier league season in the stands: couldn't get a game under McFarland and Todd.
