Bolton Mobbing Up.

Recommended Posts

Just looking at the Roma topic about two possable english teams meeting in the final, and would they stick together. I think the only time i can recall Bolton joining forces, was with Bristol City in the freight rover final at wembley, when Millwall came for some light hearted banter.

Going back 30 odd years, it was a regular occurrence at Gigg Lane. Whoever the Shakers were playing, Bolton would mob up with them. I also remember it happening with WBA one year at Walsall. Wolves with Walsall and Albion with us.

Not a new phenomenon.

Did you understand what the bungalow burning leek eaters were saying Danny ?

You're getting your Welsh folk all mixed up here. they are a differnet breed all together. They're still nobheads, but very different nobheads.

That's like saying we're jellied eel eating mill workers.

remember we hitched a lift to wigan in on one of those boxing day 11.30 ones mid 80s in a tranny van. it was then going on to blackburn v leeds for a 3pm kick off.

don't know whether it was a pre arranged mobbing up as we didnt' make it back for the transport after a few shenanigans in their end when they scored.

i was in one of those vans which went to wigan then onto blackburn, actually meeting up with the lads from blackburn who came to burnley with us as mentioned earleir by mountskipper. some other blackurn had the cheek to have a pop at us in their end during the game but were firmly put in their place. after the match the same lot followed us back to where our vans were parked but again were soon on their toes.

with regards to the blackburn lads coming up to burnley, one of them was originally a bolton lad from morris green who moved up to blackburn. they actually came to burnley on a couple of occasions with us,once in the league and once in the pre season lancashire cup, where it went off bigtime when we ambushed them outside their main pub in the main street, resulting in a car full of their lads fleeing the scene and running over two of our lads leaving one with a broken leg. the suicide squad actually recognised the blackburn lads and were obviously more interested in them than us,making it their mission to have a pop at them.

it goes without saying our six fingered friends reverted to type and were soon on their six toes.

nothing changes.

Doubt that very much mate,if they did they not real Bolton, never in a million years

I beg to differ, there were about 20 that went down, many were on that nights local news at the front when they were having little scuffles on the forecourt, alot of the bolton lads are good mates with the united lads now

your blowing that up a bit was probally 5 bolton max there.

1 of them goes with the red cunts now just for the action.

also a couple lads from bolton follow utd (i know they should be shot)

and to say boltons lads are good mates with utd lads now is rubbish

a few bolton are friendly with a few salford lads through all kinds of reason and a couple of them are utd lads. nothing more
