That's probably because they are petulant mollycoddled children who kick and scream when they can't get their own way.

I'd imagine it's directed straight at Mathew Taylor as he seems the type.

chicken and egg, i think you will find.

megson did nothing wrong and got booed on his very 1st day.

the bloke will never win no matter what he does, we has a couple of decent games, it seemed like the tide was turning, but then we get battered by the best team in the country twice, so confidence is again low, then beaten by local rivals and its all gone tits up again.

the whole scenario its just complete and utter bollocks.

basically its just a case of "when" and not "if".

whether that will prove to be good for the club is obviously unknown.

Ok Homer you missed we got battered off Aston Villa in there and we got battered on Saturday despite the score - he should be taking the morale high ground with a SECTION of the fans because he can he could project a completely different image he chooses not too we can't stop 5-10,000 fans or what ever it is booing - either that or he is highly unsophisticated in his appraoch to management of all other things none first team realted and a lot would say on all things including first team issues

oh yea, villa too. forgot them. theyre are hardly a bad team though.

i agree the way he puts himself across is fookin terrible, maybe he should employ max clifford?

but im not interested in his PR, all i care about is results and if they dont improve then he should be sacked!

theres still time, as i dont think we are total shite (yet). but how much time, im not sure.

And it's also the players fault not his

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...p;ATTR=Football

jesus

and there are quotes there too

the bit I don't get

"Are certain players trying to destabilise the club? Yes, but you have to get on with these kind of things."

"You have to make sure it doesn't become an issue."

so don't make it one, or sort it out and let the players know who is boss, if you can

in this thread, we are led to believe:

a - all the other clubs should be doing better than us due to money and fanbase, or at least don't have cause for moaning

b - we have players trying to destablise the club under megson, which would suggest players don't respect him, like at west brom, and forest

I don't hate him, I don't particulary call for his dismissal on a regular basis as I doubt we'd get much better

but I don't remember a manager at this club having so many issues that they dont' seem to be able to get on top of

he is the catalyst for the atmosphere and response from the crowd....

his comments do little to endear himself to the majority...

he was a failure at all of his clubs apart from a period at WBA...

he was out of work and working for free at Stoke and had been for 6 months, Leicester fans were singing at him to be taken to Bolton..... before his "talents" were spotted by our chairman and he was thrust into premiership management....

In my book that makes him a failure and a loser....

the fact that our board haven't got the balls to try and rectify the solution, depite giving him ?40 miilion to spend...is frankly astounding...

he should be released because it is clear after two years he is unsuitable and not up to the job he is handsomely paid for...incompetant...

the fact that his paid a huge ammount for failure...sucks..but is a sad inditement of todays game...what did Alladyce walk away from Newcastle with for failure?

If some think success is measured by the ammount you are paid then you need to re - evalute....

being a winner..opposite to loser..is being succesful...something his CV proves he is not...

bob-fuckin-on :good: =D>

Even Max Beesley couldn't do the job!!

you maybe right - given megson commented on him knocking on his door

and as we are left to come to our own conclusions

if he is causing upset, how come when clearly unfit and out of form, he got back in the team on sunday and subsequently contributed f?ck all?

I remember campo having a strop

next week he was captain

doesn't sound like good man management to me

you'd probably end up p?ssing 3 off to keep 1 happy if you work like that

Have we had 999 paper cuts yet because seriously I can only handle one more before this is over, I am starting to get to the anyone but him stage now.......is Glenn Roeder as Director or Football with Gareth Southgate as manager that bad??!

And (rightly or wrongly) wasn't McCann training with the stiffs and told he wasn't in future plans a couple of wks ago??

Then he's anchoring the midfield?

I reckon it will be Zat Knight spat his dummy in a "it wasn't just me at Villa was shit", Paul Robinson with "I played half decent at Villa and I'm not even on the bench", Shittu "I can't even get on the bench" and Steinnsson "are you fucking blind what the fuck have I done to get treated like this" - oh and Riga but he's basically insignificant in everyway "shut it mustapha or you'll be on the next flight back to the Dutch East Indies or where ever the hell he came from"

to be fair, at least of that lot Riga can claim he has his own fan chant

As far as atmospheres at Hull, Pompey and Brum go - they're all renowned for being great but in all truth were woeful this year. Pompey and Brum were especially dead, though to be fair the former were not whinging - they seemed more resigned to their fate than anything else. At the latter we had excellent support, no negativity and I'm sure that helped the win. The response from Mesgon at the end? No acknowledgments, just straight down the touchline and off. Bit of proactivity on his part might just have worked wonders.

What have we done to bring that on? Torched his car? Sent razorblade filled letters to his office? Killed his kid's kittens and daubed "Mugson Out" all over his windows with the blood of their still twitching bodies? Er no. A dozen bell-ends donned their grey marl joggers, hastily scrawled on a soiled bedsheet and shouted a bit outside of the main entrance.

Any decently thought out PR would have nipped it all in the bud.

But I don't think he's capable - and there's the rub, because it leaves me in severe doubt as to his ability to motivate the players. And precious little from his previous record suggests otherwise.

that's a strange one re: Campo, but it's not the only time something like that has happened.

Reo Coker captained Villa after his spat with O'Neill recently.

I'm starting to think the fella is thick as pig shit.

You put out a negative team against the likes of Blackburn and play sh?te you're not going to get the crowd going are you Gary?

Use your fucking loaf son.

if half of his signings are trying to destablise the club, and the other half are shit, i take it we won't be hearing much more of how good his signings are from the pro meggo crowd?

Or maybe he's not as daft as we think he is.

Maybe he doesn't fancy the job anymore.

Doesn't want to resign so slag off the crowd, pick ridiculous sides, slate the players in public, get sacked pick up a nice payoff.

Nice work Gary.

if he's going to talk about players' attitudes in the press, he needs to name names.

As I said a few days ago, I think it shouldn't be out in public and as mick says, he's got to be thick to bring it into the public domain. I have no idea why he'd want to do as it doesn't make me feel sorry for him, far from it. If there's problems then he needs to sort out the set of pampered big girls blouses internally.

I would second guess Gretar Steinsson is one of the players, Shittu another and I would have said McCann and possibly Andy O'Brien before this weekend. Nicky Hunt still at the club? Bet he's got a face on too.

What happened to Vaz Te's comeback? Not even a look-in for the stiffs, unless I'm missing something. He could be a moaner too.

Trouble ther is you have named players not in the first team at minute apart from a rar appearence on Sat from Mcann and AOB. For all we know the players you have named are fine maybe Jussi and SKD are a bit fooked off with it all. Thing is we wont ever know, so to second guess whos rocking the boat is irrelevant
