Guest Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...-by-Bolton.html 1.2m little fuckin fucker
Happy Wanderer Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 So actually he is still employed by BWFC. I'd have him in waving the flags when we scored
Ani Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Sums the prick up moaning about being paid ?1.2m for doing nothing.
Guest Blixa Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I have a particularly large pile of shit in the bottom of the garden, can I hire GM to shovel it from A to B? If he's still on the payroll, BWFC should be able to put a gagging order on him.
freds dad Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Sums the prick up moaning about being paid ?1.2m for doing nothing. I like the way we are paying him weekly. I've got a vison of him turning up at the Reebok every Friday to be handed his wages in cash like it used it the olden days.
Zico Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I'm slightly appalled that we're still paying him for the year get him paid off and let him get on with his career and cut our ties now
SatanGreavsie Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Sums the prick up moaning about being paid ?1.2m for doing nothing. aye - "not ideal"?? Cheeky cunt - I'd think getting 1.2M for doing nowt in the next year would be absolutely ideal. Sums up everything that's wrong with the modern game.
Sweep Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 not that he will, but I presume if he gets another job, then we stop paying him, is that correct?
Guest Blixa Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I'd pay him in the loose change takings of the kiosks after a match. Count that Megson, that should keep you out of a TV studio for a while.
Smiffs Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 ?23k a week for sitting at home and he's whining. My heart bleeds for the cunt.
mannyroad vet Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 ye gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will we ever rid ourselves of this self obsessed fcuker????
freds dad Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 ye gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will we ever rid ourselves of this self obsessed fcuker???? I'm surprised that the club didn't put a gagging order on him to stop him bleating on every football show going
Casino Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 id happily be in his shoes but remember, hes probably said this once..in that sky interview you'll see it in print over and over again
Guest Frandsen08 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 so this basically means he cant get get anoother job unless he resigns?
pad Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 The sooner he gats a job the better then, but at ?23K per week there is not much of an incentive to look too hard is there? All in all though it should be a prudent move on the clubs behalf, the longer he is out of the game will probably reduce his chances of a new start somewhere. It will be interesting to see if there is a queue of "people who know football" vying for his services
jules_darby Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 In terms of if he can make comments like this (contractually)...I suspect he's not on traditional gardening leave - moreover our payments to him are structured weekly rather than it being a one off payment to help our cashflow...therefore he's not actually still employed by BWFC Pure speculation, but I very much suspect that's the case - football managers on gardening leave (in the general-world sense) just doesn't happen This case is far from individual - how many times have you heard "xxxxxxx fc are still paying off such and such a manager"...The massives from down the road seemed to be doing it successively for a while... IMO Megson only has cause for complaint if this wasn't the "deal" in his contract...again I'd strongly suspect that it was. As someone's said previously, he's trying his best to keep himself on the radar and raise his stock - the more he can slur BWFC, the more hard-done by he looks Out of sight, out of mind and all that Ignore him He'll go away eventually
Happy Wanderer Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Out of sight, out of mind and all that Ignore him He'll go away eventually What like johnny giles? You poke em back in the hole.
HomerJay Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 i think ive missed the point where he is moaning? he would prefer a payoff, wouldnt everyone??? old news. pointless thread. stop fukcin bleating on. he is now irrelevent.
floyd Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) Personally I'm surprised at the lack of Clubs vying for his services as he was such a well respected and tactically fantastic manager. The press (who villified Bolton for sacking him) should have started a national campaign to get him either reinstated or into another Premier League club by the end of January. superjohnmcginlay Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Get him working at the behind the bar int ESL
Garrp Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Not that it matters, but the figures are wrong. He's on less than 1.2 million a year.
Guest Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Presumably, if he slates the club, we can sack him
jules_darby Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Presumably, if he slates the club, we can sack him As per my previous post...I don't think he's not already sacked I reckon the term "gardening leave" is being used liberally, simply to explain his pay off structure...
The Norpig Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 This is the type of thing that got him the boot in the first place. Bitching to the media.
