Ratwhite Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 any chance we can get a pole? What people honestly think at this point in time.
Happy Wanderer Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 any chance we can get a pole? What people honestly think at this point in time. Nope, no moaning negative thoughts. Come-on-you-whites
leigh white Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 any chance we can get a pole? What people honestly think at this point in time. Yeah, bring back Taddy.
tarian1979 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 any chance we can get a pole? What people honestly think at this point in time. Touch and go - think we need 6 points from the next 3 home game and 3 from the 3 aways. would give us 32 with a tricky patch but with birm and portsmouth still to follow. Any less than 9 from 5 and i think we've got problems unless we can get a surprise win. How much longer is Klasnic going to be out?

Klasnics back in training so has an outside chance of being on the bench on Sunday and will hopfully be back for the Spurs/Wolves game
Mounts Kipper Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I think it is a vefry very close call with little room for error, any more whinging, whining and slagging of players is not going to help, we need 2 back to back wins and very soon if that happens the picture can change and thats what I am hoping and believing will happen.
Ratwhite Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 Just been looking at the remaining fixtures and regardless of "negative thoughts" i think we are well and truely bolloxed, Cant see us getting more than twelve more points.
The True Marple White Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) Klasnics back in training so has an outside chance of being on the bench on Sunday and will hopfully be back for the Spurs/Wolves game No way should Klasnic be risked at Spurs, the league is far too important!! Didledee Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Unlike 2 seasons ago when we somehow escaped relegation, the thought of going down hasn't come in my mind yet[just the day Cahill got injured 'cos i was really annoyed]. I just don't see it, i don't see a good manager like Owen Coyle failing, he deserves good things for his attitude and philosophy. We have decent players, but we need to start earlier than later because i hate going to the latter stages needing results, relegation fights are boring and so nerve racking.
YATESY Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I just don't see it, i don't see a good manager like Owen Coyle failing, he deserves good things for his attitude and philosophy. I just don't get it. On what record at top league level are you basing that statement on? I'm getting as sick of his "positives" as I did under Sammy Lee. I really am worried about Coyle managing two clubs to relegation in the same season without a single away win.

Can't expect him to talk any differently can you? Only if there was a feeling of resignment, lack of effort, attitude would I expect him to start getting negative. He may be telling a few home truths behind closed doors but quite rightly the public view is one of support and positivity which has to be right. Remember harmony not acrimony. We are involved in a dogfight and will be to the end of the season. Take the downs on the chin ready to fight onto the next game. COYFWM

We're in trouble and that's the only way to survive.

This is just my opinion and by no means FACT but... if the Bolton Wanderers were to get relegated this season, anyone who says/thinks/ponders/imagines this is down to Owen Coyle is an utter buffoon
snackum Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I'm not down yet, because my club are not down yet.
gonzo Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 i personally do not think we will go down,i think we look like an old team trying to play a new way, which is never going to work straight away.oc isnt a magician..we are making progress,as little as it may seem,we are.we have been in contention in every game of coyles tenure,we have had our only 3 clean sheets of the season, and have been very unlucky in alot of games, referees decisions-fulham and arsenal, and missed chances too.. many to name, but its only a matter of time before things change..id say different if we diddnt looklike winning a game, but we do,weve been the best team for alot of the time...we just miss that spark, that final ball, that missed chance..but it cant go on forever.once it clicks we will be fine.the law of averidges sat we cant carry on being unlucky.. keep the faith.. and stop mentioning relegation!!..infact happy..get rid of this thread! negativity is a disease..it spreads from within in.
Happy Wanderer Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 What happened to that fight spirit we had a few years back when the club and fans fought off relegation with positive thoughts. Get behind the lads and stop moaning about going down.
magic legs Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I've just had a bash at that Premier Predictor on BBC website. I got us finishing on 39pts, which might be a tad optimistic, with Blackburn only just surviving on goal difference. They have a tough last 5 games - Man U (h), Everton (h), Wolves (a), Arsenal (h) & Villa (a). Got Burnley surviving as well, which I wouldn't have thought before doing the predictions.

"A tad"; id say LSD inspired / Leaving Las Vegas styley / with a hint of Trainspotting optimistic. No goals in three league games. Thats our problem. No coincidence that the goals dried up when Klasnic got injured. Also how good is Cahill?? Three clean sheets since he got injured........................................

Whisky Face Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 You have to be optimistic about everything in your life, including the Wanderers. Whats the advantage in having a negative attitude?

MOOSE36 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 ive said all along we wont go down as there are 3 worse teams than us.
