Russian made film just watched on Amazon. True story of Lyudmila Pavlichenko, a young Ukrainian female sniper. 50:50 english language and then russian and german with subtitles (she was sent to the states in the autumn of 1942 as part of a youth movement to drum up support for a second front).

 

Very interesting and enjoyable. 8/10.

Just watched Revenant, absolutely suburb. Best film I've seen since wolf of Wall Street, with similarities in his crawling in both films after his lemon quaaludes. Fast becoming my favourite actor.

Just watched it pretty good, much like enemy at the gates but without Jude Laws cockney accent.

I'd go with that - he can turn his hand to any role, pretty much, doesn't hog the limelight and doesn't grate like some of his contemporaries; Jude Law and Ben Affleck being prime examples

Tom Hanks double tonight.

 

Sully 8/10. Decent especially the aircraft scenes.

 

Inferno 4/10. Poor. Not a patch on the other two Robert Langdon films. Silly plot and too complex for complex sake. The only thing I took out of it is that wiping out half of the planets population in order to save the future of humanity is probably not a bad idea!
