Shawshank is one those "films I'd like to watch, but somehow have never got round to it!"

It's on my +box, so I might try and find time over the weekend.

shawshank is a proper film.

not like this avatar, ring lord shite.

Traf it's one of the best film's you will ever watch, in my opinion.

I just hope you don't know the ending before you watch it.

I honestly can't see what all the fuss is about with that film. I don't dislike it, just don't know why there's a Shawshank wankfest on every film thread the interweb has ever produced.

I'm the same. It's a decent watch but it isn't exceptional by any means.

TBF, I think it could depend on when you wtached it and why you watched it. I think if people watch it purely because it's been bigged up and all your mates have said "It's the best film ever, blah, blah, blah" you could be a little disappointed.

When I watched it, probably about 15 years ago, I'd watched it because a mate had said it was good... and then gone on to explain how it was about a banker who did the books for a prison and the tax returns for all the officers. It sounded shit from his synopsis, so I wasn't expecting much at all.

Think I just watched it when it came out and it never has come close to registering on my 'top' films. Everyone is different though, and to be fair it is a good story.

grown ups on sky premier currently.

Watched last night. Not a great film be easy watching and funny in parts.

Some mucky women too, always a bonus.

6/10

The Italian film Gomorrah is on BBC4 tomorrow night? Seemed to get good reviews when it was at the cinema. Has anyone seen it? Is it worth a watch?
