... and if, as I suspect, you enjoy it then I expect a "thank you". :drinks:

Just remember - he uses a pig as ammo. You'll know what I mean when you see it. :good: (its around this time in the film you'll be glad you persevered)

The Walking Dead?

nope, though I did enjoy that recently

was Game Of Thrones

finished it this evening, all 10 episodes done within a week

best thing on TV (as in downloaded) in a long old time

medieval kings fighting and all that

plus LOADS of tits

you really ought to watch it

now gagging for season 2

it really deserves it's own thread:

longer trailer here

or better just read it.. :)

its what Terry Goodkind should have done with the Sword of Truth series..

Very well adapted, nothing shy'd away from..

Just a shame the series was so short.

am toying with the idea, turns out there are 5 books in total but I'm shit at books

10 hours was plenty for me, but almost felt like an anti climax - plenty to come no doubt

how TV should be

tbh if the books written as a series and they are staying true to the books then its always going to end suddenly.. Theyve tried to spice up the ending with the Tygerian house's new beginning and the new King of the North stuff.. nothing really.

If you've ever seen "the legend of the seeker" you'll see how badly a Sci-fi book can be done..

X Men First Class

decent enough watch if you have seen and enjoyed the previous X Men films

if you haven't seen them, don't bother

or watch this, then the other X Men films

Oh aye.

Now I'm not normally one for all this fantasy lord of the hobbit type bollox, but this was bloody good.

Sean Bean though. How does that fecker make a living? He's bloody useless. "Eh up lass".

Diddles, that looks so bad, that it might actually be good. I'm going to risk it.

You took the 'risk' yet BCG :D

I have, thought it was a good watch, would have been better in English though, reading subtitles whilst watching isn't ideal.

The CGI trolls were impressive imo.

Watched Transformers last night.

2hrs 40 mins long !!!!

An hour too long.

We don't want long, complicated storlines, we just want to see robots turniing into cars (and vice-versa) and lots of explosions. Don't need 160 mins for that!

DazBobParr scores it 6.5/10.

PS - saw a trailer for the new Planet of the Apes film. That DOES look good (if a bit weird).

I give Transformers 10/10, all 3 have been mind blowing, as for that Planet of the Apes, the trailer does look good, be good to know how the apes started talking and how New York turned into a monkey society.

I know some didn't find Avatar's story that unique, but I thought it was just incredible, so that and the likes of Shawshank, Lord of the Rings, Green Mile.

Shawshank is one those "films I'd like to watch, but somehow have never got round to it!"

It's on my +box, so I might try and find time over the weekend.
