Heard good things about Frankenstein

Not sure why

Looks good but style over substance

Bang average story telling

exactly my take on it

Watched it a couple of weeks ago, and I agree. Very forgettable.

28 Years Later is far better than I was expecting, and the ending is absolutely fucking bonkers. 😂 I avoided any spoilers/trailers, and the stills/posters I saw made me think it was going to be Apocalypse Now with Zombies, but it's far from that. There's even a very familiar football chant at one point... Highly recommend it to anyone who even begrudgingly enjoyed the first 2.

Last years one - 28 Years Later. It's tempted me to go and watch Bone Temple at the cinema.

Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" is very, very good.

well worth a watch

some good twist

Watched it on Sunday, it's pretty good as you say, nice twist. It's based on true events as well, apparently.

I watched I Swear last night, excellent film showing the difficulties of someone growing up with a disability, very good acting and the lad in real life thoroughly deserved his moment wit the Queen for his work educating people about Tourettes Syndrome

Watched that new Dracula on Friday.

Deary me. I know Luc Besson likes his stylistic interpetations but it was ludicrous. I thought it was aiming for comedy at the bit where Dracula creates a perfume to seduce women.

Plus looks like he's just doing a fan cover of Coppola's version.
