Moderators Casino Posted March 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2016 i was there bolton had seats to one end of the main stand they were a bit like the ones everton have and were uncovered i think the away terrace was diagonally opposite, similarly uncovered that was one of those days when mike carter looked a world beater think the other was a goal v spurs at the embankment end
Mounts Kipper
i was there bolton had seats to one end of the main stand they were a bit like the ones everton have and were uncovered i think the away terrace was diagonally opposite, similarly uncovered that was one of those days when mike carter looked a world beater think the other was a goal v spurs at the embankment end I was in the terrace in the corner can't picture where it was now was it next to the platt lane opposite from kippax? Only few hundred on I got the bus to Salford and risked my life going across Salford flats on my own to catch the 2nd bus to Maine Road thankfully I was quite nippy as a 14 year old. Moderators Casino Posted March 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2016 if you look at the kippax, it was the right hand end the seats were where reid is looking to after he scored
bwfc2003
if you look at the kippax, it was the right hand end the seats were where reid is looking to after he scored I seem to recall Reidy being one of the first footballers to acknowledge the away support

Remember talking to a copper, he was telling us some Palace fans were in tears it was that cold when they went there in the cup Funny as fuck when G got refused from the snooker hall. That was also the one where Ged missed the game as he got there around 2. Thought it was a 3pm kick off. Happy days....

SalfordOriginal
Who did we play in that cup run? Was Brighton at home one of them? Also did Neal go on holiday during the season after the replay defeat with exhaustion or have I made this up?

Also did Neal go on holiday during the season after the replay defeat with exhaustion or have I made this up? Just had a look, it was Emley, Bradford, Reading and Brighton before Southampton. Yes, I remember Neal going on holiday mid-season, I think we won 4-0 away at Hartlepool while he was away
