With the Wanderers away at Brighton this Saturday, if you are not heading to the south coast then you have the perfect opportunity to experience local non-league football at its best!!

Chorley FC are at home to King's Lynn Town, 3.00pm kick-off at Chorley's Victory Park. The Magpies will be hoping to get back to winning ways following their 0-1 defeat at Skelmersdale United on Tuesday. Skem broke Chorley's unbeaten record and replaced them at the top of the table. It's going to be 'tight at the top' this season with Skelmersdale, Chorley, FC United and Fylde likely to be challenging come the end of the season.

Once again, Wanderers season ticket holders will be admitted for only £5.00 on production of a current season ticket at the turnstile. The social club will be showing Sky Sports all afternoon, and, hopefully, a crowd of 1,000+ will be standing on the terraces - remember those?

Come along and find out what non-league football is all about, you will be glad you did!

See you tomorrow Charlie, hopefully me and my pal can shift 200 match programmes again :)

Only 200 programmes? With the current interest in non-league football, Chorley FC in particular, it won't be too long before we are shifting 500+ programmes at CFC home games!

Read more about tomorrow's game and other news at   www.chorleyfc.com

Check it out and I'm sure you will agree - best non-league website by far!!

got 4 tonne of soil to move tomorrow by hand, if I can get it done by 2 will be on victory park, if not ill be there next week.

Use a spade!

You'll have the job done by noon and you'll be able to enjoy a few beers in the Victory Park social club whilst watching live footy on Sky Sports.

Don't miss this one, the football revolution is gathering pace...........

About 100 Wanderers season ticket holders helped to swell the Victory Park attendance to a fantastic 896!!

Chorley played some fantastic flowing football and were worthy 3-0 winners. New signing James Dean looked very impressive up front.

Great friendly atmosphere and lots of friendly banter between supporters.

Next up at Victory Park is Chorley V King's LynnTown, Saturday, 21st September. Wanderers are playing at Brighton that day so come along and find out what non-league football is all about!

It will be nice to see you, Matt and a few of the former Leigh RMI supporters.

What's the deal for BWFC season ticket holders at Chorley? Sorry just read the deal further up the thread. Edited by Mounts Kipper

Just rolled up at Athertom LR v Shirebrook, positively balmy afternoon

Shirebrook?  Blimey, have they brought any fans? Go talk to them for the laugh. One of the stranger breeds in this country.

Think I'm going to make the trip up to Chorley FC this season, only been to a few non-league games in the last couple of years but I always enjoy them.

Looks like they're at home on the 12th of October to Rushall Olympic when its international break, which also ties in with the Bolton beer festival. Its looking ominous!

Chorley won again last night 3-nil, second, 1 goal difference keeping them off top. Sold all the programmes before KO too, first time.

Are you Ruth in disguise?

Yes, I was selling the programmes with my old pal from the old days, first time we've shifted em before KO. Some good sales techniques being employed. :)
