(Think have posted this before) I've got a feeling an alarm'll go off in a QI stylee but I'm going to say: A fish & potato patty coated with breadcrumbs with some fried potatoes.

If you're ordering a chip barm in a Glasgow chippy, make sure you ask for a buttered roll & chips or the wierdos don't put butter on. Having said that she likes saveloys as well, and they are rank on a whole new level

(Think have posted this before) Is it fish between 2 slices of potato dipped in batter? Morris on Highfield Rd, Farnworth was a Yorkie and that's how his fishcakes were in the 80's.
