When he was at Derby he looked decent (the only decent player they had). Not seen much of him since he went to Burnley. Can he really be that much worse the Steinsson though?

I thought he looked a good player when Burnley were in the Premier League - the reason he wasn't taken last year maybe he thought Burnley could go up they had parachutes so could afford to keep him, guessing I know but reasonable- we have got to improve at RB this season we're not going to get a top player Mears would be a step in the right direction because if nothing else he is quick and that can cover a multitude of sins.
