the committee of the bbfl do a cracking job but one or two are so far up their own arse its unbelievable

while i support them in kicking dickheads out of the league - and theres plenty tales to suggest this lot wanted removing - all they had to do was follow their rules

rules they're quick enough to remind us of at regular intervals

a poster on here was a committee member and i'd not do it for a gold clock

but, they've brought this on themselves

fwiw, if this mob get readmitted i'd refuse to play them

From what I've read, the whole committee resigned because Moses Gate Jnr Football Club got kicked out of the league for cheating and bad parental behaviour. They then got a solicitor to act on their behalf who appealed to Lancashire FA; who in turn upheld the appeal on the grounds that Bolton and Bury Jnr Football League have acted unconstitutionally.

BBJFL have no right of appeal.

So, BBJFL don't want a team of cheats in their league. FA, frightened to death of a bit of legal muscle say they must, League Committee say Ok then but find someone else to run the league that we've been running for a long time.

Sorry if its already been posted, or if i'v posted the link wrong, few people i know got texts off there sons managers saying that they might not be able to play no more.

http://www.bbdjfl.org/news.php

then they are mistaken, from the league committee statement, link attached gives the whole reasons for the problem they now find themselves with.

We do not wish to say anything further at this time apart from re-iterating our stance that this league WILL NOT fold, fixtures will still be arranged and we will work with all our current members to ensure that they are able to enjoy the game in a safe, enjoyable environment with respect for each other and in keeping with Charter Standard.

Apparently the 'team' in questions players, were spitting at people and sewaring etc.

And if thats not enough to be kicked outta the league for, dont know what is

That's exactly what I said when I read it. Every manager of every club needs to stand up and be counted and not allow the league to be bullied into accepting cheats.

Similar thing happened with a club from Little hulton. Dads were queueing to pick a fight with opposition parents. It wasn't until the league sent the league secretary at the time (Bill Eaton I think) to ref the match that they kicked them out of the league.

I don't think it's so much they deserved to get kicked out, as casino states, the league, in expelling them, didn't follow their own rules.

and me, they could let them back in, and every team just refuse, just concede the game if necessary. soon get fed up not playing.

So basically, the BBFL didn't follow their own rules for removing a team from the league, therefore the team had a good case to appeal their expulsion?

They have just cause to appeal against the way they were kicked out. I don't think the reasons for their expulsion were subject to any appeal.

I agree with Cassie and would refuse to play them. If every team refused to play them then they would soon get the message and think what is the point and would fk off. Each team would lose the points and Moses Gate could be champions without kicking a ball if the points were awarded to them

think theres more to this than just the legal side, my son played against a team from preston a couple of years ago and had the same problems, they are well known for it. but the league were scared to death in case they played the old race card, the league even supplied them with there own mini bus and kits.

so glad am out of this .

moses gate played the race card - fact .

they have done it for years when something has not gone there way and got away with it .

like has been said - every team in the bbdjfl should refuse to play them , just dont show up on the morning of the game , the kids and parents at moses gate will soon get p*ssed off with turnin up through winter at minus 1 . oh and all managers should arrange a 9am kick off just to get those lovely people from moses gate to the other side of westhoughton and horwich for half 8 every week ! it wont last long .

Just spoken to a mate of mine who's on the committee.

He thinks the teams will, as discussed here, refuse to play. He hopes they go on to win the league without kicking a ball because that will say a lot to the FA about the strength of feeling.

The manager has been playing a lad 2 years older than the rest of the team, having forged his birth certificate. The meeting which kicked them out of the leage was told three years and their appeal to the LFA argued that it was, in fact, only 2. Like it's legal to do it for 2 years but not 3.

The parents are as bad as the kids. They stir up the racial tension so their players are at fever pitch by the time they get on the pitch.
