Walkden26 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I couldn't give a shit if he is lazy etc etc this guy must start games. He is a bigger goal threat alone than N'Gog, Davies and Tuncay combined. Quote
HomerJay Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 No he mustn't We need 1 up top and ngog is by far our best option for that Quote

Ngog was excellent today but does need a strike partner Maybe lose a wide man to accommodate him? Quote
Piemon Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Klasnic off the bench suits me fine. only needs one chance usually Quote
Danny G Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Klasnic has had big issues with Coyle recently, I am far more ITK than others. Ivan himself has just kindly sent me his match worn shirt which has been signed by the whole squad Quote
gregbwfc Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I'm hoping after the Wigan fiasco, the penny has dropped and we start every game 4-5-1. Starting 4-4-2 we never seem to be in it. Quote

Walkden26 Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Where you watching the first half with your eyes closed? I saw a lot of running no end product. Don't get me wrong I don't ming N'Gog but as far as I am aware we have 1 finisher in our squad and when he isn't on the pitch we don't look like scoring. Quote

Up top by himself? 442? Both scream disaster Quote
Walkden26 Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 So how do you plan on fitting klasnic in? Up top by himself? 442? Both scream disaster It was suggested earlier potentially drop a wide man? Not entirely sure how he would fit in but its clear to see without him we struggle to score. We need to score to win matches and the current starting team isn't creating an awful lot never mind scoring. Quote
famouswanderer Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 He was well fired up after his winner! Gave the hoarding a proper boot! and to me it looked like he looked straight over to Owen Coyle afterwards! As for him starting, no, keep bringing him on with 15/20 minutes to go. N'gog was brilliant Quote
famouswanderer Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 N'gog is shite. ?4m wasted IMO. N'gog fucking put a shift in today, and held it up brilliantly Quote
HomerJay Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Ngog is top quality, but he has no confidence in his own ability. And he's never going to be a goalscorer I'm more than happy with his contribution 4m was a decent price IMO Quote
Smiley Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Kevin Davies held it up well. But neither score goals. On the occasions he got into position to run at goal he looked devoid of ideas on how to finish and seriously lacks confidence. I think he's pretty weak compared to Davies. Not that I want SKD in the team. Not found one Liverpool fan who rated or liked him and I can see why. Quote
enzo gambaro Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Agree. Davies might not be up to 90 minutes these days but if he was two years younger Ngog wouldn't be near the team. Not that playing up there on your own is easy. Quote

Underpants Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) Doesn't give enough in 90mins. But, he is the only realistic goal scoring threat we have. Who would be a manager? Edited March 10, 2012 by Underpants Quote
birch-chorley Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Ngog is piss poor off the ball IMO, he puts zero pressure on the opposing defenders when they are in possesion and runs into the wrong areas when we are on the ball. On the ball he is OK until he gets in the box and then he struggles to put his foot through the ball. I would have no problem with Klasnic up top on his own if we had the right 5 in midfield, he blew Ngogs contribution out of the water with his 15 minute cameo. I got slated on here last week for suggesting Klasnic as he is our top scorer and today I feel he justified my comments. Quote
Smiley Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Because they're all nob eds? Or because they know a good striker or two (Rush, Dalglish, Aldridge, Beardsley, Torres, etc, etc, etc) when they see one. Quote
