Site Supporter Ratwhite Posted September 1, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted September 1, 2012 Great window for Merseyside's number 1 club ! Have to agree, Golobart from wiggin was great signing and the defence will welcome him, especially after the 0-3 grubbing at Villa mid week

enzo gambaro
Sub at Liverpool, arsenal and Chelsea Has he started more than 20% at either? Crazy Started 55 of 92 at Liverpool - 59.8% 10 of 19 at Arsenal - 52.6% 1 of 8 at Chelsea, where a ruptured achilles did for him very early on. jules_darby
Fuck me! Yossi Benayoun earns £92,000 a week at Chelsea according to the SSN guy outside Upton Park. That is one expensive sub. Once upon a time he was very close to signing for us

Site Supporter HomerJay Posted September 4, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2012 Thought he went to Sydney? In other news, 46% of Liverpool fans want fowler back rather than Owen or Heskey, in their moment of crisis. Deluded much??

Members DazBob
Wouldn't surprise me to see City go in with a £100m, £300k per week offer in the summer. There's only possibly Messi and Higuain who are as good as him. To sign him would be a mahoosive statement to make to the footballing world. Based on a hypothetical 5 year contract thats almost £180 million bloody scary isnt it. I don't think his transfer fee will top his last one, and i don't think a club in the PL will pay 300k a week for him or any player right soon and a lot of clubs have undisclosed wage caps,
DIPS
When does that financial fair play thing kick in though? Citeh would have to offload a fair few players to keep in line with the Fair Play rules.
