Mick McManus on a short term basis would be fine IMO,on a long term basis Ian Holloway would be ideal.

Getting a feeling if the dour Yorkshire pudding won't agree to a short term contract then Micky Mellon will be the man. First point I think megson was a prize cunt and I have said before your eloquent descriptions of him and his tenure are spot on - I do however think we (large generalisation) as a set of supporters need to learn something from when he came in the atmosphere was poisonous from day one he contributed to that massively yes but we just can't allow that to happen again and I do think some have voted for OGS over MM based on the fact his face would fit rather than him being the manager we need - OGS would get a longer honeymoon period than MM no doubt and that's wrong IMO
