If I had to pick my top 5 boxers I could only go off boxers I’ve seen in my lifetime.

Jack Dempsey, Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson , Sonny Liston I know of their legacies but i would treat as them as the same rule as Pele and Maradona, I never witnessed them so I don’t count them.

So

Mike Tyson

Canelo Alvarez

Floyd Mayweather

Ricky Hatton

Lennox Lewis

Based on those parameters:

Eubank

Calzaghe

Tyson

Mayweather

Fury

Reading the imaginary GOAT discussion fired up my imagination and I remembered this guy. Herol ‘Bomber’ Graham.

I was a kid watching him but I always liked how he boxed. Surely one day he would be a world champion I thought but he always seemed to just fall short.

He was miles ahead on points against Jackson but fell victim to one of THE pound for pound heavy punchers in boxing history.

Yep 😢

How the fuck any of them get up after being twatted by a right hook from some 6 and a half foot monster is beyond me.

What weight & height was the likes of Mike Tyson and Mo Ali in comparison?

I am sure Rocky (not Sly) was no where near close back in his day, right?

Why?

The size is to much for him to handle

Wilder came in at his heaviest and couldn't handle the weight fury was putting on him

Albeit a very good boxer, Usyk is a cruiserweight, he was 2 stone lighter than Joshua, who luckily can't box

Fuck knows what the weight difference will be between Usyk & Fury

He'll bully him against the ropes for a full 12 if he wanted to

Imo

Got me thinking this one;

Tyson

Mayweather

Leonard

Hagler

Benn

The latter more for his heart and some of the fights he had as his ability.

He’s 6’3 230 lbs

Whyte who’s the contender to face him is 6’4 245lbs

He’s hardly little Whitt

Thanks mate. Absolute top quality shithousery! 😁😁😁

Watched the fight on Daily Motion this morning with a steaming hangover. Blimey. There was some fair old sledgehammer punches thrown. They must both have chins made from concrete to take those blows.

This video of Dillian Whyte laughing about Wilder after the second fight is a cracker. Proper infectious laugh.

He’s a great character Whyte, been unlucky with how it’s fell for him

Following on from @barryk32and @gonzo where does Fury come in the top heavyweights of all time? Is he in anyone’s top 5/10

I wasn't a fan of TF before the first Wilder fight. Before that I thought he was an immobile chancer who talked a good fight. I was wrong. A Lewis/Fury fight would be too close to call for me. For me Iron Mike is the best I've seen. The golden age of heavyweight boxing in 70s had some fantastic heavys. Is TF better than them? Again, too tough to call. Fury needs to stop fighting a bloke he keeps beating and fight someone who would be a notable scalp for me to rate him above Lewis and any of the best the 70s had to offer.

Mike Tyson doesnt get in my top 10 nevermind 5.

Bashed a load of bums about then got beat by the top fighters. Was a Street fighter not a boxer.

To be the best you've got to have the complete package, discipline/training/mindset.

Boxings answer to gazza.

Fought a list of bums though in a crap heavyweight era.  Got beat when it mattered. Couldn't lay a glove on lewis.

If you compare their fights up to this stage (32 fights) I’d say Tyson had the hardest opponents by far.
