Mounts Kipper
Just back to the early 1960's please. Stood on the Embankment with my Dad and my Grandad. The world seemed a really good place. RIP both of you. Tear in the eye stuff Zulu.
zaza_zaza
All the classics mentioned above but I have a special recollection for the Swindon 2nd leg in the League Cup semi. A packed Burnden under the lights, going 1-0 down to make it 1-3 on aggregate, all hope seemingly lost. But no, the style, grit and determination to haul us back into a winning position and a cracking goal by Mixu at the end sent me and the Burnden faithful into raptures. Not forgetting that we had made our first major final since 1958. A great night.

Breightmet Boy
I'd of liked to been of the right age in the 70's to of witnessed our fantastic followings at away matches, when the match day experience was cramming into a trannie van with a bag of ale and other goodies then taking liberties whenever possible. My older brothers used to tell me the stories of what used to go on. The days of taking ends and just getting escorted round the pitch or thrown out are well gone

Ended up in court acting as a witness for my mate who smacked one on trinity street unfortunately my efforts went unrewarded and he was found guilty. Naughty all day that day. glossopWANDERER
I would go back to the 5 - 0 at Leicester and the one iv missed would have been Plovdiv, missed it due to starting in a job the week of the match. Knowing what I know now I wish I had turned the job down

radcliffe white
I had great memories from the 92/93 season being a young lad going away with my dad and his mates, hull is the big stand out but for me burnley away 1-0 what an atmosphere in that stand, and also going to Exeter and Bournemouth both night games with great followings

RIP both of you. Some of these memories put me in mind of something that Wolves have done to brighten up the breeze block walls under the stands. Maybe it would be good to do something similar to pass on to future generations of Trotters?

I was there that day, they expected to turn us over but got a very big suprise I missed the Reading game in the play off final due to a banning order so my choice would be that game if i only had 1 choice
