Mental scenes but my overriding issue is that people's first reaction is to film it rather than go and help.

Not sure how you can help somebody hanging from a 3rd story window. Add Kalashnikov-wielding terrorists into the mix, and it's impossible to know how you'd react in that situation.

I'd probably go downstairs and open the fucking door to let them have somewhere to escape to.

 

My first reaction certainly wouldn't be to film it.

That video was shot from a window over-looking an alley. I doubt there were any doors the cameraman could've opened that wouldn't involve him running round the building and dragging injured people back the way he came.

 

Nobody knows how they'd react in those circumstances. We can all talk up a good "I'd do this..." story, but until bombs are going off and people are firing guns, it means fuck all.

Don't disagree, but it's reported the lad that filmed that did go down when he knew what was happening to help and ended up getting shot in the leg himself.

Hard to know what you'd do, it must take an age to register it's a terrorist attack, you wouldn't really be expecting it
