Let's play them when we have built up our strength a bit more. Doubt they'll make much of an impression on the Championship. 

Wigan is by far and away the biggest derby next year now.

Watching it back and seeing the consequence of it surprised it is not a red card the way the game is reffed these days. If you catch someone with your follow through after kicking the ball you see reds given, a deliberate block that breaks his cheekbone and eye socket seems worse. I am no major fan of Newport County, the Chungy double leg break was outrageous & I'm still to see any club apology for an over-aggressive approach to a friendly. Lee's injury was one of the earlier ones in a 5 or 6 year catalogue of them.

... but the alternative is to see the Revie-like approach to football by micro-club Morecambe rewarded. It's a horrible attitude & terrible to watch. It's cheating. It's also breeding cocky, disrespectful fans ... not many, coz f'call watch them, but too many to tolerate.

Yeah there was contact but outside the box, speed of the move caught the ref out. Especially sickening for Newport given the Morecambe keeper tried to punch their forwards head off in the first half
