MalcolmW Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 N'gog just come on for Swansea at Anfield (4-3 down). Meanwhile Sky have a 0-0 so far toon-villa. Quote
deane koontz Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Seems Jordan Henderson is doing an impressive impression of a good footballer. Sturridge was really greedy today, it served a reminder as to why i'm glad we got shut of him. Quote
Marc505 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Seen a photo on Away Days of Boro's ultras with a display honouring their Carling Cup Final win over us, 10 years ago this week. Ten years. Quote
gonzo Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Coyle getting touted for the Blackpool job on various forums. One poster on Avftt wrote "Owen Coyle has done more damage to the north west than Margaret Thatcher" Lolz on toast. Quote

I don't see that he'll get another job in England though Quote

Biggish Dave Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Them games are racking up for Charlton now, they are bound to pick up injuries and suspensions with that number of games. That said, I reckon Doncaster and Millwall are poorer teams than them. Really hope Millwall sink then we might hear a bit less from Holloway Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Darren Gough mentioned Hollaways little dig at us yesterday and that he should focus on his own team especially after Barnsley beating them 1-0 Quote

Really hope Millwall sink then we might hear a bit less from Holloway Clearly more matches in limited time significantly increases injury risk. But it does not increase suspension risk. Suspensions are in therms of games, not days, and mutiple bookings leading to suspension are by a set date, so a fixtures backlog actually makes reach 10 by the deadline less likely. Quote

DazBob Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Even I would've saved that. Shocking goalkeeping. Quote
Zico Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 dunno, that's some swerve at the end, 1st replay - keeper probably had it 3/4s of the way Quote

MalcolmW Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Them games are racking up for Charlton now, League matches on: March 1st, 11th, 15th, 18th*, 22nd, 25th, 29th, April 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th*, 15th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 29th, May 3rd. * If the FA Cup 6th round match on March 8th is drawn, the match on March 18th will be rescheduled as the cup replay on the 17th will take precedence. If the FA Cup 6th round match is won (or a replay is won) the match on April 12th will be rescheduled. The likeliest dates for rearrangements are (possibly) March 20th, April 24th and May 1st. The fact that the Watford match (due originally on March 8th) has been put back to April 29th, rather than brought forward to 5th March suggests Charlton are giving priority to their cup run rather and taking their chances with regard to possible relegation. maaarsh Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I enjoyed watching the patronising build up where it was assumed one of our mid table teams could turn up and dominate a Greek side who have been winning for fun. So far this has just been another exhibition of how ordinary the scum side is right now. Quote
