Marc505 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I saw the photos of all those Napoli fans prowling around Swansea in balaclavas. Dread to think what UEFA's reaction would be if some of our fans turned up abroad like that! Frankfurt travelled well also, currently watching them making a lot of noise (and flare smoke) behind the goal at Porto Quote
MalcolmW Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Man U fans having to pay Champs League prices in Europa Cup next season Assumingh they qualify, of course The league cup final presents City win a sort of win-win situation. If they win they get a trophy. If they lose it squeezes United's chance of even a Europa League spot to a top 6 (at most) place. Quote

I actually want United to qualify for Europa 60,000 fans having to pay for a ticket whether they go or not, and 30,000 empty seats I would love to see that. Quote
bgoefc Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Has the Diddler given us his take on last night's game? Shirley even he was bored to tears. Let's be honest, Barca were fantastic they way they dominated the game .... but, by fuckery, they're dull to watch. I'd rather watch Stoke play than watch a team pass the ball over and over and over and over again ... yet go nowhere. Dont think it was dull, having played the game i know which is more difficult to do, give me barca over stoke any day. Those who say they were not pressed are pretty clueless. To press a team who can move the ball so quickly is impossible to do for more than 10 mins. Thats the difference. If our side were doing that to all comers you would not call it dull, but out of this world football. As an aside, citeh are truly capable of turning them over in the second leg. Barca will be think that the job is done and if citehs manager lets em play as if there is nowt to lose and if aguero and negredo are fit and paired up i expect to see em put in a few goals. Whether its enough depends on if barca score but if citeh draw first blood i can see their arses falling out. Quote
gonzo Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Fuck me another ex-pro. Did your knees go too? ???? Quote

Sorry, but Barcas arses falling out???? not going to happen, City have to go for the jugular, and to me that will play into Barcas game plan, if anybody thinks City attacking Barca is getting them a result.......... join the queue for Boltons promotion push. tomski Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Seems to be a lot of beef with palace and dmbs today. Good luck palace. Quote
gonzo Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Big protests planned at Bloomfield road today. 12,000 fake £50 notes printed for everyone to wave about and a big giant bed sheet. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Suppose that's more effective than a small, giant or a big, dwarf bedsheet Quote

tomski Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) On twatter? What's being said? Apparently the dmbs wanted to take loads of Cantona masks down with them (look at me inferring they are travelling from the north)Have been banned from doing so. A palace fan died around the same time as the kung fu thing in a ruck with dmbs and it appears they haven't forgotten about it. Edited February 22, 2014 by tomski Quote

Don't think palace have much about them tbf though. Their stewards last season were laughing about their "lads" saying their so called top boy was in tears once after being thrown out haha Quote

He called it "their Hillsborough". I said, aye, like your 58. He shut up. Quote

That would make my season. If they have the same players in this division next season, they'll be getting massive fines. Quote
