Watching Burton v Blackpool for no reason other than I lobbed some hard earnt on Burton.

They arent a bad team at all, proper organised bowyer outfit.

Seen some classic evatball calamaties from sea side, almost scored an own goal from a pass back after pissing around at the back, and plenty of crappy passing  around and keeper slicing it out for thrown ins.. like ive entered a time warp....

Although Burton keeper just thrown out 2 worldies to keep it 1-0

Brett Omerod must have been relieved of his assistant kit man duties,  he's on co comms

An Ian Evatt team struggling away at a well-organised, physical team? Surely not

Luton not winning is an unexpected bonus too.

Tell me again the one about "pissing about at the back".

Burton are now just 4 points behind us!

Shows what a tight league it is. Few wins and whoosh.

Burton joint 2nd in form table last 10 games (we're top).  Wycombe joint 2nd too and Rotherham up there.  A few strugglers early in the season putting some results together.

Seem to be doing alright now after a shit start Burton

Am sure they were bottom 2 when they beat us

Decent wins at Cardiff, Wimbledon and Bradford

Now 4 points of play offs

Saw about half an hour of Luton v Rotherham

Awful match

Luton look like a bunch of big bastards so have a more physical aspect

Evatt out thread on Blackpools forum.....And its not just the odd person

What's 'the odd person' called? Is he BlackpoolWays version of you?

Luton and Rotherham drawing is a great result. Slightly concerned about both of them so neither picking up all 3 points is nice.

Blackpool losing is another good one. I doubt they’ll be close to us come the end of the season, but given how tight the league is you don’t want them going on a 5 game winning streak and getting some real momentum under Evatt.

Lincoln winning is annoying but they won’t be challenging us come the end of the season so I’m relaxed with that one.

It is incredibly tight.

We are 4th with three teams behind us who will overtake us if they win their games in hand including Barnsley who are 13th!

Stevenage are in the box seat and it’s a shame we didn’t get the opportunity to reel them back in when we were in such a decent run of form.

With just 10 points between top and 20th at this stage is ridiculous and underlines why there really are no easy games this year.

We are still a team/squad in transformation...Everything is not rosy despite our last three wins but we are going in the right direction.

Stevenage are a big unit who will only get so far., one or two injuries and they will implode the same as Lincoln and Wimbledon.

I see it only Stockport are currently above us who will be vying for the automatics come May.

Next Saturday Schumacher will have the strongest squad any Bolton manager has had at least in the last ten years to select from.

Vic and perhaps Toal every other player is fit and available......Some may say the Evatt team from two seasons back when we finished third was better, but that team had five six missing every week.  You say there are no easy games.

I say there are no hard games.....Promotion is there for the taking.

Can’t dispute any of your facts…

.. But to put a more positive slant on this..

I think only folk who don’t follow L1 would put Stevenage in the box seat, despite their games in-hand.

And both Stevenage and Cardiff have entered pockets of poor form.

But yes all very tight.

The difference now, compared to a few weeks ago, is that we are bang in the mix and contention.

According to the bookies… in the box seat. 😊

I happened to be speaking to one of the players the other day. His words were “once we get up there we won’t move”.

I tend to agree.
