I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

In Igor Tudor Spurs have a man who has a track record of failing everywhere

Bit of luck for them there, go straight other end and score after 34 minutes 1 up. By half time 3-1 down with a man sent off.

Spurs are broken.

If Palace do get some more, then the big goal difference advantage Spurs have will be eroded quite a bit.

West Ham and Forest will be really motivated.

Superb this.

Why I spend a lot more time watching Serie A, Apertura, Primeira Liga etc. when I can.

Lost touch as I'm flitting between Johor Baru and Singapore on a contract for at least another week. Liverpool must be pissing the terrible league are they?

I was just looking at Spurs fixtures and noticed the Prem doesn't end till 24th May, which seems ridiculous in a world cup year.

Anyway, when we travel to Wembley for the promotion clincher, the Prem final games are being played on the same Sunday.

4 games in London with Newcastle, Everton and Leeds all coming down from the north.

So long as they don't take their PL form in to the EL can see that happening

Tough to call who will make the top 4 out of the 4 teams playing for 3rd and 4th

Probably utd as they don't have any other distractions

Being sat in the ground while that was ongoing was soul destroying. Spurs fans started booing how long it was taking and then of course cheered when it was disallowed 🙄

Was sat on row 19 and the press box starts on row 20. Mexican guy commentating behind us tapped me on the shoulder and asked what the Palace fans were chanting. Never thought I’d hear a Spanish translation for “say hello to Millwall” 😁

I believe this to be a fair analysis. Football can be unpredictable as we all know but I too get the impression that the filth will get there and Carrick becomes permanent.

it's funny because when they paid all that money on compo to bring Dan Ashworth in to turn the clubs fortunes around, he told them they need to appoint a coach who knows the Premier League and the English game / players

but the businessmen in the room thought they knew better and wanted Amorim, so ignored DA and cracked on

so DA thought fuck this, if you're not going to listen I'm off

seems he was right - they brought in Carrick and Southgates assistant, who know the know the english game and players, and consitently pick the same players in a system that suits them, and oh look, they've turned it around

will stil probably go tits up next season like

but shows you need football men as well as business men running a club

Why are there no premier league games during the Easter weekend?

Christian festival recognition. It's all the rage.

Ah, FA cup quarter finals, which is why no games are listed yet

Now there's a player for a thread in 25 years time about players you forgot about.

All I remember about him now is Barnsely away.

Craig Noone was the most predictable player I've ever seen, he'd beat a player or even 2 then cut inside and give the ball away every single time.

Him and Will Buckley were so frustrating

... and I always return to the phrase "clear and obvious" which this fckg isn't.

I don't care which team wins or loses from this decision, even if it was us, this should be returned to the live decision.

You can see why Lincoln and Cardiff are so far ahead - every ball is contested, nothing is wasted. Anyhoo Lincoln (fuck all possession) are leading Cardiff (loads of possession) but could still go either way although goals are at a premium.

2 nil.

Last team to score against Lincoln was……….us.
