Rotherham lose at QPR today and they're relegated already, barring a huge miracle on goal difference.

You don't get the ® after your name on the final scores on Grandstand until it's a mathematical certainty.

Miracles do happen, like that Sound Energy tip you gave me :-)

Glad you took that tip S. Another I've done well on is IRR,held it since last March and done very nicely from it. On a total free carry now there and still going strong.

Will look into that and any more tips you know where I am.

Ironic really as after we lost at Rotherham last boxing day I knew we were relegated with no maths required!

Udders were dogshit tonight.

And I've been a big fan of them this season.

3rd in the league with a goal difference of only +4 which I find a bit odd

Reading are in 4th with +2

When they lose they must get battered

When Man City got relegated as defending champions they were the top scorers in the league and had a GD of +3.

Was that the smallest points gap between top and bottom?

1937-38 (spread 52 to 36) equalled the record set 10 years earlier (53 to 37).

Bolton were 7th on each occasion and no team finished above them in both.

I think whichever team Sam had gone managing in the bottom 6 at Christmas he'd have kept them up.As a Sunderland and Middlesbrough disliker im glad it wasn't either of them!

I see that Lincoln who sang "whatever maybe we are going to Wemberlee" all through the first half against Arsenal are not going this season as relegation York have just stuffed em in extra time.

Even better is that Tranmere were turned over in the other second leg semi by Macclesfield.

He always gets it right. Simple formula. Couple of good signings either in defence or attack, clean sheets and hanging on to a lead.
