November 10, 201411 yr Along with anelka the best I've seen in a white shirt. Rolls Royce footballers Okocha youri and hierro were magicians with a football but no where near their peaks. The fact that eidur & anelka played with us in their prime years blew my mind. Genius Okocha was nowhere near his peak????
November 10, 201411 yr What a great move simply having him around the club. He's a winner. He has an honours list as long as your arm. Same as our manager. If we can instill just a fraction of their winning mentality into our sqaud they we are on to a good thing.

November 10, 201411 yr This guy was absolutely superb for us, it was a shame Big Sam had to sell him, though we got promoted the season after regardless! If he's still got it at the age of 36 we should certainly consider a short term role for him. As long as we don't sign Dean Holdsworth to partner him.

November 11, 201411 yr I was one of 87 Whites who saw him play against us away at Fulham - where we always lose. He looked fat and past it then. That was three years ago. Great player in his time. But - any positive is positive. Get him on in the FA Cup
