Fish Recovering After Heart Attack

Featured Replies

Jesus, what chance have we got? 40!

I thought you meant a haddock or something.

Get well soon Feeeeeesh!

Loved Mark Fish.

Seriously thought we'd made the big time when we signed him.

His tackle on the worlds best striker at the time in Micheal Owen will live with me forever. It was the fact he coolly jogged away with the ball whilst Owen carried on sliding face down into the south stand.

Great player. A few didnt take to him, which probably had something to do with the fact he followed old school tough nuts like Taggart and Fairclough. This fella was more technically gifted than the pair of em put together.

10 minutes in to his debut against Utd, he slid what seemed like the length of the East touch line, hooked the ball from Giggs' feet, got up and played a simple pass in to Frandsen's feet. Fuckin loved him from there. Get well soon.

That tackle on Owen was so controlled. Like Bobby Moore on Pele.

'A Wanderer Called Fish'. Great newspaper headline at the time we signed him.

Classy, confident player. Macclesfield away particular memorable for other reasons...

I loved Mark Fish, was gutted when we sold him.

Get well soon!

Feeeeeeeeessshhhh!!!

"There's only one Fish in Grimsby" will always stick in my mind!

Good luck feeeesh get well soon.

C'mon Feeeeesh lad, every Wanderer is rooting for you, get well soon.

Get well soon Feesh!

Scary. Get well soon Mark lad.

He was superb

Could tell you some tales about that lad

Could tell you some tales about that lad

Feel free...

Could tell you some tales about that lad

Or you could just leave it vague...

Could tell you some tales about that lad

When we signed him I didn't know he was Sarf African, I thought he was a Fin.

Didn't he nearly die a few years ago after falling through a glass coffee table, or somert like that?

Anyway hope he makes a swift recovery.

Absolutely loved that man when he played for us.

Think he said he felt a pane in his arm

Anway get well soon

Seriously thought we'd made the big time when we signed him.

Aye same here, the fact we bought someone from lazio, who I always played as (when not playing as bolton) on sensible world of soccer made me think we must be pretty good

That said, by that logic id have thought the same if we'd signed Tony Daley (though I only signed him because he was fast as fuck)

Great player, it ended on a very sour note though

My girls were mascots at West Brom the night Gudni got sent off and Ricardo scored the winner. They were well used to my effing and blinding but they were shocked by Fish's continuous tirade of cussing in the dressing room. More impressed by Gudni shouting "Up the Trotters" in the tunnel though.

Surprising as he's still relatively young and was an athlete most of his life. However, the Afrikaner diet is based on meat, meat and more meat.

Of course it could be a hereditary issue.

Anyhow get well soon lad.

Seconded. Top class
