April 12, 201511 yr Given that the examples i used were Cardiff and Hull, i assumed you were capable of making that connection yourself. Never assume because it makes an ass out of u and me.
April 12, 201511 yr I agree with Whites Man on the MK Dons/Wimbledon thing. The way it was done should never have been allowed by the league. MK Dons should have had to work up through the pyramid system. I despise FC United but at least they are doing it correctly (bunch of dicks that they are).
April 12, 201511 yr FCUM are the biggest tossers going. I despise everything about em and the joke is they are still really dmbs when it suits
April 12, 201511 yr If doing it correctly means getting a load of grants, bypassing real clubs and taking the piss out of the football pyramid, believing you are doing real community clubs a favour by turning up in numbers then yes. Playing the victim when Rammy put the price up a whole quid to cover policing costs. Wankers. They think they invented football at that level, driving past their local club to watch FCUM, sound familiar?

They think they invented football at that level, driving past their local club to watch FCUM, sound familiar? Abso-fucking-lutely. Soccer Club United of Manchester, or whatever, were also founded on a lie. "Manchester United not for sale" - remember that? The company was listed on the stock market - that means it's absolutely for sale. The so-called fans weren't bothered when it was providing the company money to buy up league titles, but start whining when some yanks want to buy up the shares. Vermin - just like everyone else who follows the Stretford Scum. A cancer on football.
April 12, 201511 yr Totally agree on FC United comments Carlos. Point I was making is that they didn't follow MK Dons by buying out Bury (for example) and taking their place in the League. Small comfort that it is.

Then love preaching to the rest of us that they know real football blah blah. Wankers
April 12, 201511 yr I support Bolton, they are (were) my local club. Only Breightmet United were closer and I'm not a Breightmeter. Self-righteous non-league pricks are bad enough but Munich ones are taking the piss.
April 12, 201511 yr Any idea who these Irishmen are and what sort of war chest Lenny should be expecting this summer?
April 12, 201511 yr If they are coming in with a war chest then they can swing a Celtic & Liverpool half and half round their heads at the Macron for all I care
April 12, 201511 yr No disrespect to him, but what would a fat pub landlord know about the club finances? ...and with his financial track record as well. Edited April 12, 201511 yr by Smiley
April 12, 201511 yr Sunderland changed their nickname if that counts Presumably because the old one related to the old ground.

They had no ground so should never have seen the north west counties.. arrogant doesn't come close. Obsessed with principles to the point of bullying afc fylde kids and women to stop them buying programs and food at the match or abusing kids at rammy over the quid.. yet happy to play on Friday night tv the very first chance they got..
April 12, 201511 yr Presumably because the old one related to the old ground. Aye, roker men wasn't it Changed their badge too as did we City changed theirs and added stars to look "better" to teams on the continent Grounds change names regularly too these days so inevitable someone will want to change colours or team name if they're pumping their own money in
April 12, 201511 yr Grounds change names regularly too these days so inevitable someone will want to change colours or team name if they're pumping their own money in Why is it 'inevitable'? Most owners don't change either. Thirteen of the teams in the current Premier League have changed hands in the last few years, only one is proposing changing the club name and none have changed the club colours.
April 12, 201511 yr No guarantee we'll see much investment on the pitch, it could be mainly linked to the non football side such as the school.
April 12, 201511 yr The best cash injection would be another 10,000 season ticket holders, we could spend all of that
April 12, 201511 yr Wix.com, Silent T There are other clubs. Not to me, there isn't. FCUM are the biggest tossers going. I despise everything about em and the joke is they are still really dmbs when it suits Spot on. Absolute filth.
April 12, 201511 yr The previous example to MK of a league club moving and changing name was in 1930 when South Shields relocated and became Gateshead. Woolwich Arsenal moved from Plumstead to Highbury, and became simply Arsenal, in 1914.
