We don't have twice as many kids as adults though BB do we? Vast majority of our support are adults. It bothers me that most people are paying double what the club says it gets per seat.

No, otherwise it would be £7.62 average, not £8.50

I don't even have as cheap a tickets as I could if I moved into the North Stand.

My two mates I sit with also have their 2 kids with them. I would be honestly interested what the mix of kids tickets to adult tickets is though? I think we'd all be surprised!

There's a lot I could pick holes in with our finances, the average ticket price is the last one

I'm confused

Are we forgetting the thousands of tickets given away to kids footy and ethnic minorities?

(Insert bomb smiley)

Just heard nl interview forward coming on Monday for talks

Please be someone that can actually forage a chance for themselves

He bought us when we were in trouble financially for a song, from memory about 14 million. I find it hard to believe that a trained accountant Gartside and a successful business man like E.D. Have allowed the club they love to get into this position, regardless of our success over the 10 year the pair of them will be ultimately judged on where they leave the club when they hand over the reins, here's hoping they get the right buyer for the club and that when they do we're not playing in league 1 or 2.

you're still asking em to spend money we havent got

I'm still waiting to find a ticket for £8.50. Given most of our support is made up of adult season ticket holders who are paying on average £15 or so a game I really don't see where the £8.50 figure comes from. The couple of thousand or so on the day sales are never less than about £25 a ticket for adults either. We'd have to be selling thousands and thousands more kids' season tickets to bring it anywhere close to an average of £8.50.

i pay about 500 quid for 3 season tickets

69 matches

take your shoes off and get counting

theres fcuking loads of kids watching us

it isnt a bad thing but it does nowt for the income

I've praised the club for it many times - getting kids in is definitely the answer...but look around you...there are 10 times as many adults as kids in any given stand bar the north upper...which is hardly bursting at the seams. A senior citizen ticket in the North lower (cheapest stand) is £226 - so a tenner a match. So even with seniors and the small minority of kids tickets there's no way the average is £8.50 when every other fucker is paying £14-£20 depending on whether they're north lower or west upper. And that doesn't include those who turn up on the day and are sometimes forced to pay £35 a ticket.

Kinell, and here's me reading the ITK transfer thread all about average ticket prices...

Clayton (thumbs up) like a new signing

Just thinking that the name Armchair Accountants would be a good name for an indie band. Especially one from Bolton seeing as we have so many in the town.

Do you really believe that Eddie hasnt got the money to stump up for a half reasonable striker? Of course he has, it's just that he won't, hopefully he'll be gone soon and we can move forward whether that be with a financial backer or as a community type club I don't know, but at least when he's gone there will be some direction and leadership from somewhere/someone because at the moment the club is rudderless.

Under 23s paid 215 for season tickets.

Kids under 80.

I buy 3 tickets. 2 of which are kids, one is spare so lad can bring a mate.

We either believe the numbers in the audited accounts or your fag packet numbers based on what you see in the ground.

At half time the concourses are full of blokes but the kids stay in their seats for they do not want a pint and would rather be dancing to win a coffee machine.

Let it go if we agree the average ticket price is £15 or even £20 it makes full all difference. We won't be buying Ronaldo any time soon. It just does not matter just seems like you want to moan about something.

I agree with you, you are right

Clearly a tax scam

and in the past he did

we now owe a fortune and you call it mismanagement but call for more of the same

And I ask again what would be the point?

Why would ED send us further into debt to sign a championship journey man that scored a few during an end of season kick about on the beach?

What If ED breaks the bank and signs ALF and he performs as crap as he is wolves at the minute and Cardiff in the past?

Another costly gamble to send us even further in to the brown stuff. I'd rather him not bother given our past record at signing forwards.

Vetokele and/or Kermogant.

I would prefer Kermogant i think , from all accounts Vetokele is NL first choice though , I can't quite grasp the thinking behind taking on an injury prone player who isn't match fit yet on a 3 month loan

Hopefully he'll be gone soon??? Community club???

Why do you think we are rudderless. We are trying to be prudent, we have no money to spend yet you want more spending.

Just because we are going through a shit period doesn't mean we are rudderless and lack leadership. You could probably throw that accusation at 80% of clubs.

Wouldn't know either of em if they were sat eating poached eggs in my front room right now.

any news on the transfer front?

That supposed dereliction of duty is probably what gave us our premiership years and relative success. Being prudent at that time would not have given us that and the said same fans would have been moaning that we weren't spending enough

Big Sam gave us the success, Gartside got lucky with him, fell out with him and proved afterwards he hadn't a clue with the next 4 appointments and now we are in the state we are. Again i say the spending in the Premier League under a competent manager is not what's fucked us up. The dodgy appointment of Megson started it because he could never have lasted due to his attitude to the fans/club off the pitch. That was all down to Gartside and his shady associates, so then under more pressure he took on Coyle. Yes Coyle fooled everybody but if Gartside was worth half his salary he might just have seen through him (plenty at Burnley seemed to have) but even after that he must have signed off on Coyle's excesses?

Incidentally I never thought Allardyce should have been given even more money to chase rainbows. not all the fans who think Gartside should be called to account are the bed sheet brigade type and I don't remember in the Prem ever moaning we weren't spending too much.

the point isn't that we weren't spending enough, it was that we were spending too much

and nobody cared

Absolutely ridiculous question and on the wrong thread!

Sheeessshh

Sorry what I meant was I don't remember moaning that we should have been spending more. I did feel maybe we were spending too much for a club our size, but you're right I wasn't complaining as it was a great time and the money on offer in the Prem was crazy as well. All I keep banging on about is that I think Gartside has made some very bad choices that have contributed to where we are now and that given the money he is taking out the club he might be a part of the problem.

Absolutely ridiculous question and on the wrong thread!

Sorry you're right.I will shut up now. so is there any news on that striker yet? COYW

I'd prefer Kermorgant too, but Callum Wilson got injured yesterday and that could be a blow for us.
