Bollocks that means it'll be shut on Friday when we go.

So much fun that ride.

You could go to the French tennis semi-finals instead. That's safer.

Managed to get myself on the school trip there today..

hopefully be fixed in two weeks..

hopefully they all make full recoveries

ace ride, dodgy safety history in it's short time.

love Alton Towers when it's not school holidays, 10 mins queue for any ride.

hell on earth during school holidays. full of fucking children, the little bastards.

Best white knuckle rides ever now. :)

Plus 2 minute queues next week.

How are the seriously injured, any news?

Heard in work today that some people have lost their legs in the accident.

Dunno if its true though.

If the maintenance men think they'll get away with this one they're wrong, no fun fair dismissal this time :)

At least one has lost a leg, the others are 'seriously injured'.  It's horrific, kids too, by all accounts.

said on the radio this morning they were life changing injuries

Don't read the papers, didn't know it was that bad. Now that is bad if the injured was stuck up there for 5hrs with severed limbs :(

Plus 2 minute queues next week.

I know it's selfish but I'm hoping the park is back open by Friday and that's the case.

I'm hoping those injured have a speedy recovery though so i'm not completely heartless

Shut tomorrowno news about Friday yet.

Apparently we can use the tickets at Chessington, Thorpe Park or legoland. That's helpful for northerners.

Went to Thorpe Park on Monday, was a thoroughly good day and is a much better park than Alton Towers. The Smiler is a shite roller coaster anyway.

I have never been on a rollercoaster and never intend to either.

I love the Hulk at Universal studios I do.

Is it still going?

It is NB

I love smiler.

I've not been to Thorpe Park for about 20yrs. It's near my auntie and uncle's old place.

Drayton Manor for Thomas-land next weekend
