June 2, 201511 yr For those that don't have a clue, a bit like me and had to google, here it is http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-32980354
June 2, 201511 yr Bollocks that means it'll be shut on Friday when we go. You could go to the French tennis semi-finals instead. That's safer.
June 2, 201511 yr Managed to get myself on the school trip there today.. hopefully be fixed in two weeks.. hopefully they all make full recoveries
June 2, 201511 yr ace ride, dodgy safety history in it's short time. love Alton Towers when it's not school holidays, 10 mins queue for any ride. hell on earth during school holidays. full of fucking children, the little bastards.
June 3, 201511 yr Heard in work today that some people have lost their legs in the accident. Dunno if its true though.
June 3, 201511 yr If the maintenance men think they'll get away with this one they're wrong, no fun fair dismissal this time
June 3, 201511 yr At least one has lost a leg, the others are 'seriously injured'. It's horrific, kids too, by all accounts.
June 3, 201511 yr How are the seriously injured, any news? said on the radio this morning they were life changing injuries
June 3, 201511 yr Don't read the papers, didn't know it was that bad. Now that is bad if the injured was stuck up there for 5hrs with severed limbs
June 3, 201511 yr Plus 2 minute queues next week. I know it's selfish but I'm hoping the park is back open by Friday and that's the case. I'm hoping those injured have a speedy recovery though so i'm not completely heartless
June 3, 201511 yr I know it's selfish but I'm hoping the park is back open by Friday and that's the case. I'm hoping those injured have a speedy recovery though so i'm not completely heartless also said on radio would be shut today can't see them not being open by friday, cept maybe the smiler might be a bit quieter than normal which would be a bonus
June 3, 201511 yr also said on radio would be shut today can't see them not being open by friday, cept maybe the smiler might be a bit quieter than normal which would be a bonus Shut tomorrowno news about Friday yet. Apparently we can use the tickets at Chessington, Thorpe Park or legoland. That's helpful for northerners.
June 3, 201511 yr Went to Thorpe Park on Monday, was a thoroughly good day and is a much better park than Alton Towers. The Smiler is a shite roller coaster anyway.
June 3, 201511 yr You need to try this one, the g-forces are that big you can hardly lift your arms up and on some of the turns the negative g's feel like your carves are being pushed through your feet ... but it is good https://www.sixflags.com/overtexas/attractions/titan
