no balls Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Get to Darwen. Wetherspoons near Station. Plenty on way down to BolEwood. Jesus, that's some walk that. I know I've got Ernie Wise legs but it's tucking miles. Plus the taxis in Darwen are shitter than Htown ones. Quote

Done it a few times, worth doing if the weather is okay. Quote

mannyroad58 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Got 12 tickets after the game on Saturday so 12 of us are in Quote
Arrested development Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Blackburn are shopping from the same aisle of the transfer market as us, frees and loans. I just think over the Summer they have been been weakend more than us. It's certainly an away game we are capable of winning. I've got a good feeling for this one. I'm going for a hard fought 1-0 away win. Quote
burnden Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 BLACKBURN: We've sold 1,000 tickets for Friday's game. Pay on the day details to be confirmed in coming days. #BWFC Quote

davidjack Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 4 days to go yet. I'm going, but can't have a pop at those who don't want to pay £27 for a game on the telly. Whoever had the idea of dropping the reciprocal £15 deal wants to have a word with himself. They'll be lucky to get 15k on for one of the oldest derbies in football. Quote
radcliffe white Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Its the cost of todays football unfortunately like it or lump it. I may of been critical of our support recently but other clubs manage it and our place isn't the cheapest we charged Blackburn on boxing day £28 and £33. Quote
Big E Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 friday night on tv....i am amazed we have sold so many Quote
Ani Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Its the cost of todays football unfortunately like it or lump it. I may of been critical of our support recently but other clubs manage it and our place isn't the cheapest we charged Blackburn on boxing day £28 and £33.  I will be lumping it then.  I will do away games where there is also a day out like Huddersfield and probably QPR, both will cost more than Rovers but I am not driving over paying £50+ for two of us when game is on telly and I am away with work 3 full days a week.  Surely for televised games especially those played in the evening it would make sense to use some of the money the clubs get for being televised to reduce ticket prices Edited August 24, 2015 by Ani Quote
davidjack Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 There's a big difference between Boxing Day and Friday night on the telly. Quote

gonzo Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 It's not even a good trip anymore. Â Ferhurst is shut to drinkers, Golden Cup is fuckin miles away and the station even further. Â The ticket price just made my decision even easier. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I always prefer Blackburn and local ones on a Saturday as makes massive difference to our following, get the long ones out of the way mid week. TV will reduce even further. Quote

EyesRight Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Overpriced, on TV, and generally a shit away day.  In plus 5 though, cos it's what we do!  When we put 4 past them everyone will be watching the scenes on TV thinking they'd have paid double that £27.  COYWM! Quote
