February 28, 201610 yr Fook me your a dick. Funny one though you must think I'm Hans Christian Andersen to make up such a tale. What did these legal documents look like? Where they in PDF format? Why were they sent to a footballer? And if questioning such extraordinary claims makes me a dick, I'm proud to be a dick. Edited February 28, 201610 yr by Cheese

February 28, 201610 yr and meldrew you might be a miserable fcuker but normally youre reasonably sensible so why start posting bollocks are you saying eddie hasnt just written off tens of millions?

February 28, 201610 yr Eddie Davies, Phil Gartside and the board for putting too much trust in managers. Owen Coyle and Dougie Freedman for bad acquisitions and contract renewals. Neil Lennon for spreading what little he had to thinly - though decent strikers don't come without a fee and he's not had much to spend in the way of fees. It's a complex picture and blaming Eddie for everything is a little simplistic in my view. From what I hear ED was fairly hands off in any case. It may give you some comfort to focus the blame on a single bogeyman, but it wont help you understand the truth which is a bit more complex. In any case, the lack of buttered hot dogs has been one of the biggest, most often overlooked factors in our demise. This site being the honourable exception! I think you need to take your rose tinted specs off pal. This is business nothing else. Folk live and die by their decisions. Letting a business go from running at a small loss(within reason) to facing insolvency in the high court is fucking criminal no matter what spin you can put on it. We are bottom of the championship. The PFA have recently had to step In to pay players. We have twice been a split second away from being wrapped up. The judge in the high court said as much and is still unconvinced. This is down to our owner. Nobody else. People need to get a grip and realise this fucker has lived his dream, made his money and now is leaving us in the shit. It's a mess. And there's only one person to blame.
February 28, 201610 yr . People need to get a grip and realise this fucker has lived his dream, made his money and now is leaving us in the shit. . fcuking hell youre digging to new depths good night
February 28, 201610 yr Your heads gone. I know what I saw don't care if you don't believe me. Good night. Unable to answer simple questions? Enough said. Goodnight.
February 28, 201610 yr Proud and loud, congratulations. So you never question ridiculous claims, just simply take them as truth?
February 28, 201610 yr fcuking hell youre digging to new depths good night Oh yes he's totally broke. I forgot about that bit. Shame on me.
February 28, 201610 yr Oh yes he's totally broke. I forgot about that bit. Shame on me. Don't think that was the point being made mate. You said he's "made his money", but he's made FUCK ALL and lost MILLIONS!

And there's only one person to blame. Gonch, remember Eddie is/was the owner rather than the man running the show. How much was he involved day to day? Do you know? I certainly don't? I'm guessing not that heavily? I try to take the emotion out of it and look at the numbers, he's tipped c£150m after what he's had back in interest. It's not ended well, but lets face it he wasn't faced with a queue of buyers willing to pile in cash upfront. He'll probably feel he should have been into the ribs of the detail more but he's been let down just as we supporters have, arguably more. I for one hope we turn up somebody else willing to tip up a few quid of their own money, but can't see it happening short/medium term. I don't think that the SS plan for a kick off. February 28, 201610 yr What did ED have to put in that the club to stave off administration back in 2003? I'm of the impression it was what £30m? Not a bad price I suppose for ownership of all the assets What's he sold it for £1? If that's the figure then I can't blame him for taking the euxton money. In court they said that the £5m car park sale fell through do that's Deanos to sell and stick up his nose. As is the ground, lostock and rest of the car park. In fact I think Deano could make a quick buck out of this if he wanted too, just like ED could have but instead he's gave it away for £1 and kept £15m of debt With that deal it's only right that Deano pays the HMRC I'm sure what mounts has seen is legit - however I doubt ED would have turned a good offer down that had real money behind it then sell for £1 instead - after all he wants out One thing for sure is it backs up ED's statement that their have been many potential bidders over the years. It's just another one who didn't put the money up - they could have offered £2 and still have doubled Deanos price Anyway, so even if ED had £45m out in total over the years (guess work) £3m a year roughly then it's still goes down as a piss poor investment - he'd have made much more if it was invested wisely Who knows he's lived his dream?? His dream might have been to own a carribean island like Richard Branson and instead he's ended up with this getting mothered by his Mrs constantly Edited February 28, 201610 yr by birch-chorley
February 28, 201610 yr I just want to see what's happening going forward. Who owns the club ? What are their finances & plans ? Have the courts & Football League given us the all-clear ? Arguments about what ED, PG, & the previous Board were up to are history (almost). We all have opinions. It's unlikely ever to be explained or investigated.
February 28, 201610 yr I don't think Mounts has made it up, he's not that imaginative! And the footballer with the PDF file? Must be Adam Johnson.

February 28, 201610 yr I have to say that Mounts's story seems too incredible to be legit. Especially as it fits into his long running opinions as nearly as it does. However, I beleive him. Still won't alter my opinion that ED is being used as a very convenient scapegoat for a multitude of failures, bad luck and piss poor decisions by many people. You can't win on here, that's for sure.
February 28, 201610 yr my eyes aint what they used to be, but was that deano sat next to ED today? Yes
February 28, 201610 yr Gonch, remember Eddie is/was the owner rather than the man running the show. How much was he involved day to day? Do you know? I certainly don't? I'm guessing not that heavily? I don't think that the SS plan for a kick off. what interest is that? i think the interest is in the debt hes written off, as in it was never taken despite being owed to him which is why i dont say hes lost 180 million and stick to the 10s of millions line
February 28, 201610 yr what interest is that? i think the interest is in the debt hes written off, as in it was never taken despite being owed to him which is why i dont say hes lost 180 million and stick to the 10s of millions line I think we are on the same page cas. Just netting off accrued interest that you are correct to point out he's never had back in cash from the overall debt on the balance sheet . Though I know you don't need me to explain the difference between cash and accrued interest so not sure why you are picking up on my post. The tens of millions line is fair enough without trawling through years of accounts, think Eddie on here did it (fair play to him) and got to a figure around £22m for the interest, the widely quoted figure ED drew the line at is £173m - resulting in principal figure of around £150m.
February 28, 201610 yr I think everyone agrees the writing of a £170 mill is bollocks. For the people who don't believe he has made his money out of this, can you prove this? As anyone who thinks otherwise is labelled a fantasist. Completely believe everything about Mk's info. Do people really think he has tried to find the best deal for the club and sports shield was that deal? Sports shield will have been the only one to meet his terms, that is all. So not sure on this gift to the people of Bolton quote?
February 28, 201610 yr Tomski, Eddie on here clearly did a fairly hefty piece of work on this which I'm inclined to believe. I think it might be earlier in this thread. So that's where I use the £150m figure from. I also have no reason to disbelieve what MK is saying. The two are not contradictory views. ED drew a line under things at some point last season, the hardball on the sale was him not moving from this position.
February 28, 201610 yr ED's gift was a transfer embargo that's left us on the verge of League One and unable to tie our academy products down to being here next season. Cheers pal.

Cheers pal. on the money we 'make' embargo or not, we cant keep holding and clough next season unless somebody is happy enough to run at a loss
