Change Of Owner?

I'm assuming that the point of the supporters trust is to be offered to purchase the club if it enters administration.

And as the administrators are bound to speak to the (one and only?) supporters trust within the mandatory 21 day marketing period, I assume the first objective of the self appointed trust will be to appoint trustees, with none of the founders/organisers guarenteed to be appointed.

If not, then I see it as nothing more than self promotion, and for that reason I am out.

This is exactly what they predicted would happen & hence why we tried to be anonymous. Founders are irrelevant with the supporters we have garnered today.

I see the issue and entirely agree it's all about the supporters, but still we need to know who's behind it (and their reasons for being involved) alas.

It is possible to have people who aren't quite so divisive. It's been totally transparent all along what the LoV lot were up to. It's a shame you've chosen to include them, despite having the same reservations.

Carlos you clearly know far more about this than me, but if, as their web site says, positions will be available for election then this surely represents an opportunity for people independent from them. I guess its up to supporters in general to get involved to try to achieve the best outcome for the club

This supporters trust, is there going to be money raised to stem the clubs £1m a month in losses or is it all just about what happens next if the club folds and we have to start again from the NW counties

We are working on contingencies for 3 scenarios.

1) New owner - demand fans have representative(s) in the board

2) Administration - take over club as per football league rules

3) Rangers situation - we would form a new club

While I understand the motives, I can't see it gaining much momentum unless the club folds. Will be another version of a supporters club - too much apathy in the town.

You can watch the match for a fiver tomorrow and prob still won't hit 13000 on. That's the reality, people have had enough

Scenarioss 2 and 3 mean we are deep in the shit a long way from coming back.
