Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

I heard they wouldn't sell tickets to people who'd been to every other round.

Vicious rumour!

So three years ago Freedman leaves Palace for what he sees as a 'step up' to join us. This week our owner is struggling to get around £15m for us and the yanks invest in a deal that values Palace more than £500m. Somethings not fucking right either way.

Not only that they've a ground that's ramshackle and needs a virtual rebuild that'll cost well over 100 million, we've also got land, hotel and office space, doubt palace have that infrastructure just goes to show your either a rich club in the premier league or virtually worthless out of it.

Correct Mounts, if they got relegated they would be only be worth the value of the land their ground is sat on (which is probably fairly considerable) - you're right about their ground, they'll be looking at about £100M to redevelop that shit heap they've got at the minute

It's all about the PL and its riches

If we were in exactly the same situation as we are now but based in London investors would be queuing up.

The takeover cannot be imminent as Eddie Davies talking to Hemmings at PNE about selling him Euxton training ground.

I would think that Emerson would be interested in the car park and subsequent management, rather than taking over a football club.

More offices.. More cars..

can we not have discussions going on with more than one party?

Do we need Euxton. Maybe he's trying to make a last bit of cash

If a sale was close, the training ground wouldn't be offered up surely just before?

i'm gonna sound like nixon, but its complicated

we may think we have a sale on the verge but it might fall through

you need to cover your bases

If we are going to be asset stripped, better them that paid for it in the first place.

I haven't seen either Euxton or Lostock at close quarters as training grounds but for a club in our position, is having 2 training grounds not a bit extravagant? Surely Lostock or Euxton is big enough to cover all teams who need it?

Do we use Euxton ?

Evidence on match days over past few seasons says 'no'.

also, who said we're talking to hemmings?

nixon or uberloon manning/iles?

Euxton used for first team.. Lostock used for academy

Would it not be beneficial for the youth team to train with the seniors?

Euxton is Premier League standard.

Lostock is ok but not on the same level. Lots of portacabins.

Wouldn't it be better for the long term of the club if Euxton were sold for the  benefit of BWFC rather than an owner putting the money in his own pocket?

Or the club has a contingency plan in place.

Anyone who wants to but is unlikely to have £20m sat in a copper jar in their bedroom.

We need to verify them as much they need to check the accounts, I assume this is happening now, in the meantime if we could have the sale of some land lined up to raise capital to pay folk so we do not have to give players away.

They would need to arrange the release of any capital ( ready for people to panic when people realise the buyers are having to raise money)

Or it might be a way of telling potential buyers that we have other ways of raising money so they can not screw us over in the negotiations.
