He had their right back RUINED no wonder he was pissed off about being subbed,I agree about Trotterhe played well, Moxey is becoming my favourite player, not too put a dampener on owt but Mavies is really pissing me off

Wellington got no change at all out of Partington in the first half hour - it was only when we switched him and Davies round we started to play. Silva got more joy centrally, and Davies (who was in everything second half) ran things from a free role. Trotter was very good, but Feeney probably went to bed being spooned by Dan Harding, who had him in his pocket almost all night. Harding played 28 games in the Championship last season, so fuck knows what money Eastleigh have stumped up to get him to drop out of the league altogether.

And if Lennon leaves Silva on to get carted in the last five minutes after taking the piss once too often, he gets all manner of shit for not saving him for the MKD game on Saturday.

Family man from the area, decided to be content with a decent wage &enjoy life, and not be a money grabbing twat

With shola leaving and madine injured, who are we gonna playup front against mk dons?! Is heskey still injured?

Ameobi can play on Saturday.

Ameobi can play on Saturday.

That'd be a bonus he's our most creative player in and around the area his touch and vision are better than anything we have. By the way I'm reliably informed he's collecting 15k a week.

Bolton win

Forum descends into bitter arguments.

Standard.

I can't remember folk moaning when we beat Gretna.

A Bolton win is anything but standard.

Fucking hell, no wonder we've no money left

We were playing a National League side at home, not Barcelona at Camp Nou.

A win's a win Enzo. We were celebrating where I was.

Not to mention another potential pay-day for the players.

I can't remember folk moaning when we beat Gretna.

We were on an upward curve in 1993 with a side and management team that everyone could see were going places.

I think MK has been unreliably informed.

Ameobi joined when the shit had already started to hit the fan.

There's no way he's on 15k a week.

Did you miss a decimal point out, G?

Aye, I know his links to Southampton. I'm still interested how much a 'decent wage' is, though.

He's not paying his subs and washing the kit four times a season, that's for certain.

By the way I'm reliably informed he's collecting 15k a week.

Whoever has "reliably informed you" that is talking utter, utter bollocks. I strongly suggest you reassess your sources.

That wage cannot be true!

Trotter played alright, we won. Eastleigh looked well set out with a game plan, might catch on that hopefully..

Chris eaves uptop next match?

Woolery surely. Has Eaves even made the bench this season?

I'd like to have seen Woolery given more of a chance. Last ten minutes we started strolling around once eastleigh got tired, at least Woolery took advantage of how knackered they were.

Saving Eaves for next season.

15 goals in 51 appearances in Leagues 1 & 2.

The fact I chose not to disclose before the replay was that every English team outside the PL/Football League at the time to have beaten Bolton Wanderers in an FA Cup tie have gone on to get Football League status:

1910-11 Chesterfield (who have finished in the top 6 in the second tier 4 times),

1900-01 Reading (made the PL),

1897-98 Southampton (current PL),

1891-92 Sheffield Wednesday (4 times top tier champions),

but this extends even to before there was a Football League:

1887-88 Preston North End (champions for first 2 league seasons),

1886-87 Darwen  (2 seasons in top tier, although the only team they ever finished above there was Newton Heath0,

1885-86 PNE (although both teams were disqualified),

1883-84 Notts County (League founder members),

1881-82 Blackburn Rovers (whoever they are).

Good grief. Get a grip man, if the use of "of " rather than "have" on here tips you over the edge, I'm surprised you ever log on. It's fucking rife.

Bad grammar out!

Language changes over time, but a verb is still a verb. If you dispense with them, or use prepositions in their place, then you cannot expect a sentence to be clearly understood. Surely it is not too difficult for any poster to grasp basics?

defensively shite as usual - holding was really uncomfortable

passed it well enough, with maybe not enough cutting edge

wellington can run with the ball, and scare the shit out of defenders, but his passing and shooting is awful

dont get peoples problem with madine - they are obviously better at reading body language than me. he looked injured so he went to the sideline, where he was directed down the tunnel.

feeney needs to appreciate that there are other players on the pitch that could make his life easier

vela needs to learn to work with feeney and how overlapping works

trotter and pratley were very good i thought. i didnt really have much of an issue with davies. i just wish he would take more risks with passing. we dont need to be barcelone with tippy tappy stuff.

Neither is anyone at that level

Neither is anyone at that level

Obviously.

They're not all dropping down from the Championship either.

I wasn't at the game last night (working till 8:30 pm before Snowball pipes up).

This thing with Madine - there are certain injuries that pro's understand mean they've got to come off and don't need a physio to tell them - hamstring being a good example, groin strain being another.

Might it just be that he's a decent pro and understands that he couldn't continue or is there more to it than that?
