Wanderers 2 Rotherham 1

6-0 for them.

Ronnie Moore and Clive Mendonca both bag a hat trick.

Emlyn Hughes is dug up, plays at centre half and keeps Madine in his pocket for ninety minutes.

Clough back in alongside Woolery for me   I'd happily fuck Mark Davies off for this, I think he offers nothing. He was hiding behind Leeds players last week ffs

Best 50th birthday present I've ever had, I'm over the moon. Retreat with the family then on the lash

  • It might help psychologically, too.

To be fair I think Jules would regard that as a positive.

Or went playing golf instead?

Most weeks this season I'd rather have watched star wars.

Hopefully you've learned from my mistake.

If that fat cunt Heskey starts another game for us there's something seriously wrong, he was shit when he was in his prime and that perfomance on Saturday was fucking embarrassing

Bolton News comparing Woolery to Jamie Vardy today.

No pressure then Kaiyne......

If yiu think that was bad you should have seen him as makeshift centre half at forest last season.????

Haha fucking hell that's just bought back some awful memories

Yoof was commenting on that on Saturday, he was comparing the two performances.

HOWEVER when he came on at Wolves he did improve us and on Saturday there was no one near him to pick up anything he did get to.

I do think Madine has to start if fit with Woolery as a replacement and Heskey last resort.

I'm alright with Heskey coming on for the last 15 mins or so to use his power against tired defenders but he should NEVER start a game again. It was obvious straight away he'd be totally ineffective and fucked after about 50 mins.

Why does Dobbie not get a chance?

dobbie is a piss poor player, even though he has scored a couple of goals.

heskey just doesnt have the fitness levels to complete.

woolery isnt there yet, especially to play up on his own.

i still dont see the problem with madine tbh. some folk has a massive issue with him, but i just don't see it.

I'm with you on that. He's an average championship target man and that's the best we have on our books at the moment.

He's an average League 1 target man imo.

Probably is our best available option though.

Madines problem is that for years we were spoiled by having a CF who chased balls down better than he does, was better in the air and on the ground, oh and he played with passion and commitment.

One ended up an England International, the other is journeyman footballer.

Ha ha - brilliant. We were shit bit I don't care. Thought the ref had disallowed the winner at first. My mate said he turned around and it was bedlam - apart from me open mouthed and looking gutted.

I feel robbed of a celebration! :-)

First time I've seen Trotter since his return and physically he looks a different player. Holding drove us on. Couple of tremendous saves from Amos - can't believe he gets stick from some quarters.

Because he gifts a goal every 3 games.

Because he gifts a goal every 3 games.

Right on cue!

I reckon he'd be as fast over a 60m race. There the comparisons end for now.

Would like to see his pace made more use of playing off Madine, if the rest of the formation could accommodate it. Madine looked happier that odd time Clayton played just off him and made use of the headers and lay-offs he managed.

Woollery's pace would certainly put the wind up some defences, if used in the right way

Redfearn sacked

Hope they don't get new manager syndrome and start winning
