April 21, 201610 yr Leeds shut some of their tiers. Never knew that. Do we want to be as tinpot as them?
April 21, 201610 yr No one wants any of the ground closing its far from ideal but sometimes tough decisions have to be made, I really hope we don't shut upper tiers, I'm also one who does not want ticket prices reducing because it says we can't attract fans, both these decisions will make us look small time and both make it more difficult to get back to where we want to be. I just can't see how it makes commercial sense to risk alienating your top paying customers. Mind you, the club has previous.
April 21, 201610 yr There may be an argument for keeping the west upper open. That argument being that I'm in the West lower so can't see how full or empty it is. The press box is in there as well. The east upper has been like a wasteground for most of this season, so I'd say close it and relocate anyone to the west upper if they feel they need to sit 'high up'
April 21, 201610 yr Never knew that. Do we want to be as tinpot as them? Wouldn't that be an improvement for us.
April 21, 201610 yr Shut east upper. All corporate in west stand LOV open to all fans for extra on top of ST Also close north upper
April 21, 201610 yr Villa have already said they'll be shutting at least one upper tier next season. Don't sit in East Upper and appreciate people who do might not want it to close but it can't have been viable for much of this season. As has been said, shut East but keep West Upper open. North is a bit of a trickier one, as it's the family stand, but another area could be designated as such, maybe one of the halves of West Lower?
April 21, 201610 yr Families in the family stand, old folk in the WSU, anyone moaning about standing or swearing in the lowers can move seat or move stand, to the appropriate area.
April 21, 201610 yr The club need to come clean with the change in club name that they appear to have sneaked through. Ever time we get a mention on the BBC it is "Already Relegated Bolton Wanderers".
April 21, 201610 yr The club need to come clean with the change in club name that they appear to have sneaked through. Ever time we get a mention on the BBC it is "Already Relegated Bolton Wanderers". As long as it's not changed to 'Heading for Oblivion Bolton Wanderers' next season.
April 21, 201610 yr It's been said before but get home fans behind both goals. close upper south stand and move away fans into west upper, south end and west lower if demands there.
April 22, 201610 yr Stick the away fans up in the corner of the WSU, Bolton fans behind both goals. I see a slight flaw in your plan.
April 22, 201610 yr Drove through Huddersfield the other week, big billboard advertising ST from £179 and u18s from £69, kids £23 (£1 per game)

April 24, 201610 yr Shut east upper. All corporate in west stand LOV open to all fans for extra on top of ST Also close north upper That's what I reckon. Press (and possible TV) means WSU as a "listed" status (like most of the fans up there). #nevertooldforSpezials
April 24, 201610 yr sold 11k already Doubt they will sell 15k that would be about 2.5 million if all purchases are at full price, at that level of income they are going nowhere except down.

April 24, 201610 yr Great, shut upper tiers and have us queuing for everything crammed into lower tiers. No half time pies and pints because the queue is too long. Your season tickets with mates in the same seats, tough shit you'll have to split up because we don't have 9 together on the half way line. Let's be right, the cost of opening the top tiers could be budgeted for very easily. Not being precious but why close some of the best seats in the house?
