League One - The Positives

tLooks like Oldham are safe - so a reunion with Battle of Burnden '97 punkin' instigator John Sheridan is on the cards.

What are the others positives?

You're not allowed to say we might be in with a chance of the odd win cos it's too obvious.

Fire away lads/ladies.

This link will remind you of the BWFC you remember.

This is a chance out new era of supporter to experience the utter joy of a meteoric rise as we did in the nineties.   Cup runs, underdogs, backs to the wall, seige mentality.   New heroes will em

  • I think some of you lot think relegation comes with a flux capacitor and we'll go back to the 80s fv   It'll be just as sterile and policed as the championship

  • Been there, done that, more than once. No positives.

It's shit that all the excellent work done by Sam Allardyce has unravelled and now we are back where we were under Phil Neal. The fixture list looks grim.I've never seen Oxford city centre so that would be interesting and ive never been to Plymouth but it looks like they are blowing promotion.Of all the places in League One id say Shrewsbury is the only attractive little town for an afternoon out but id rather them go down to keep the Blackpool derby.Gillingham, Kent sounds an interesting place to visit but its actually a grim industrial town.I'm embarrassed rather than excited about playing Bury, Fleetwood and Accrington. And so soon after the four top 8 finishes id rather just forfeit the Freight Rover trophy or whatever its called.

No International Breaks.

Getting trolled on twitter by Wigan fans about a tweet I sent a year ago when they went down is pretty cute

Speaking to a bury fan and prices seem to range from £18-£25 league 1

Never got the "it should be cheaper in division 4" thing , It's a bit like saying "Kanyes west's records should be dearer than some band youve never heard of that sells 500 copies"

If it were outside the pyramid, then maybe it should be cheaper.

But the Pyramid stretches way beyond the Football League.

The Lancashire Amateur League in is layers 14 to 19.

I had the same from some Tranmere fans about a tweet I sent when we got relegated from the Prem!

This season in league 1 could be the start of when we feel we've got our club back. Might also be able to find a striker worthy of the name - almost forgotten what it's like to have someone banging in the goals on a regular basis., Just had a look back on the 92-93 promotion season and the thing that stands out apart from the shit home crowds in all but the last few home games is that Andy Walker scored 33 that season and John McGinlay 22!

Been there, done that, more than once. No positives.

A new cult hero will emerge. Whether it be some clogger or loanee goal machine, someone will do something, and he will still be revered 20 years later.

Gary Madine?

Positive for me? I can walk to an away game

Which one?

Southend.

Gary Madine?

Stranger things have happened. You never know - new manager, lower league, better service. He might do OK? On the other hand he might continue to be a big fanny...

He will be a fanny!

Or another lady part word that is more appropriate

The Bolton Bury Facebook banter page is a plus it's like shelling peas winding the thick bury fuckers up.

It's going to take something special for me to support, applaud or celebrate anything by most of these cunts.

Agree about the freight rover can we just tell them we're not interested.

Associate Members Cup sounds more regal don't you think?

I don't want to be a party pooper but I think it will be shit, with shit crowds at home, shit results against shit teams & we'll probably get relegated. Unless Deano sorts this mess out, in which case it will all be absolutely fine.

We need a new Tony Caldwell for that division.

we had caldwell, oghani and chandler who got 60 between em and just survived

theres more to this than a goalscorer
