Matt Lofthouse Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Millwall Bradford drawing, a goal right now would be nice. Come on lads. Quote
bolty58 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Ah well, still undefeated. Was hoping a couple of consecutive home games might give us a bit of breathing space over the pack behind us. Quote
jules_darby Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Not a win but some very promising signs in that game Quote
frank_spencer Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Battered em 1-1 if that's possible. 23 shots but only 4 on target. Should have tested their ropey young keeper more often. Anderson was causing them all sorts of problems until he dropped deeper to accommodate Sameobi Quote
Sweep Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Not a win but some very promising signs in that game Anewman says you're all deluded! Quote
captainmed Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 How the heck did we not win that. Promising signs though. Surely we'll not find many teams as poor as Saarfend, or are they representative of League 1? If they are, then play offs are a certainty. Quote
frank_spencer Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Unbeaten.still top of the league too. Quote
radcliffe white Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Think madine has lost his place now, they were shit very shit. Quote
Rizlar Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 We are going to trounce some of these teams in this league I am not looking at playoffs I am looking at us being CHAMPIONS ! Quote
jturner Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Think madine has lost his place now, they were shit very shit. He'll be back though because all the other strikers on the clubs books are shite as well. Even though our defence and midfield is very strong for the third tier im not convinced any team with crap strikers can win automatic promotion. FFS Reeves and Philliskirk would both start in front of the shite we've got Quote
Con Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Just one of those days, another day wed have had at least 4. Still unbeaten, still 2points clear, that's good enough for me. Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 One of those days indeed, bit better run of the ball in and around their box and we'd have won easy. We'll only lose a game in this league if we doze off and hand somebody a goal. Enjoyed it again though, lots of promise for coming weeks and months, we played some of the best football I've seen from us for a long while 2nd half, looked after the ball well and moved them all over the place. Quote
Marc505 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I just feel like it was a blip I've not felt more certain about a Bolton team in a long time (okay a lie i knew we were relegated on boxing day last season) But we're going up. Its obvious. Promoted on my birthday at Scunthorpe. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Ref was a bloody joke. Even at this level they should be able to see blatant fouls. Quote
Carlos Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Absolutely battered them, given so many players have only just arrived. Quote
DaveTheRave Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 4 wins 2 draws. Great start to the season. Should've won quite easily today. Come On You Whites!!! Quote
Zico Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Ameobi showed signs that he could be very good for us at this level Moxey had a shit game but other than that were still unbeaten and top so certainly nowt to moan about Quote
tshape Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 One of the most frustrating games I can remember. Brown must be wondering how the fuck him and his pantomime act of a team have gone home with a point there. A routine home win on another day. The 3 new lads looked a cut above and will be perfect coming into a team already in form. Surely, SURELY some poor bastards are in for a thrashing soon. Quote
Carlos Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Having 2 players booked for time wasting to hang on to a point is embarrassing. Quote
ZiggyStardust Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Having 2 players booked for time wasting to hang on to a point is embarrassing. When Lennon was potted, I wanted Brown in as replacement. After watching the embarrassing tactics employed by them today, thank fuck I didn't get my wish. Quote
gonzo Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Some fuckers are in for a massive pasting. They played like it was a 3rd round Fa cup match. Not one proper contribution to the football match bar the scabby goal whatsoever. But that's football. We are going to be just fine. Quote
