Hilarious that after about 10 years of being relegation fodder, people immediately go back to the same old the full-back is shit and the keeper can't kick criticisms.

Nowt wrong with Howard or Buxton. The current weak links are Poxey Moxey & Trotter.

This a thousand times over.

Not sure we have a weak link, unless you 'really' have to find something negative about our team thus far this season.

Coming back to the game, I was very disappointed with Phil Brown's post match comments - I thought he was better than that. Yes the ref was quite poor, but it worked for both sides, not the one sided version he portrayed.

Somehow he failed to notice the constant pulling of shirts in the area at every corner - the referee ignored - penalty decision not given.

Their forward's foot up at Howard forcing the kick out of play - yellow card not given.

Several players kicking the ball away after incidents - only two booked and insufficient time added on i.e. only 3 mins. The players took a booking knowing the ref will not add on time.

Mr. Brown shouting at the ref who then runs over to send him to the stand. Although I don't think he intended to be sent to the stand the aim was achieved i.e. wasted more time i.e. inly 3 mins added on.

Sounded like a man under pressure to me.

... and to show I'm not being one-sided they should have had a penalty when Wheater pulled their man's shirt.

Don't let yourself look daft like the Alonso thread again Homo :D

Bastard

Finally got round to watching the highlights.

How folk can blame Moxey for their goal is odd.

Better finishing is definitely needed. So many times we should have done better.

Stop the slow starts at home and well be fine.

Browny's lot were physical and made it difficult but we should have won.

Personally I'm happy with vela.

Solid partnership with Buxton defensively and most of the width is on that side.

Honey monster trotter offeres insufficient given him size and undoubted ability. A couple of good tackles but not effective enough. Good to see him come looking for the ball a bit more second half but more end product please.

Henry was excellent.

Proctor looks exciting but some end product please. Chance at the death but could not find a white shirt, if crowded fire it towards the far post and make them defend it facing their goal a few feet out.

A bit not picking because the football generally was great. Once we've ripped someone a new one we'll be flying.

Be interesting to see if Moxey starts the next game. For me I thought Parkinson took him off after nearly giving away a penalty for what I thought was a blatant push on their man when he was going nowhere.

I was pretty much in line and agree it was a push. Linesman fortunately didn't see it that way.

From where I was sat he generally just looked knackered and needed to come off as he wasn't to much anymore

Aye thank fuck we didn't go down the 'old boys' route. Browny is what Browny has always been, a rent a quote too fond of the limelight for himself, all mouth and no trousers. He will not see the season out, being under pressure and coming back here realising he's never going to get the job was too much and he spat his dummy out big style. Even moaned that he was being interviewed in the corridor while Parky 'disappeared in his nice warm office'. Tart

So glad we have a boss who just gets on with it and lets his team do the talking and when he does say something, people tend to listen, unlike Browny. Onwards and upwards.

Oh and Browny if you are still in a job lets see if you sort us out at Roots Hall as you hinted!

This with nobs on he's turned into one serious gobshite .

Haven't interviews always been done in the corridor or that little sideroom by the tunnel.

So it was the same when Sunbed was here with BSA

After brownies rant I have lost any respect for him.

Is there a link for Browny's rant, I've missed this?

“We’re fighting to win it now. It’s a frigging long way to go, but we’re up for the challenge and we’ve got the players to cope now.

Been told tonight that he wanted to stay and get us back as he feels the club have looked after him.

"I've just spotted their manager going into his nice warm press room whilst we stay here in our cold surroundings."

What a pathetic, bitter prick! Be a warm reception for us at their place, I hope we put 9 past the cunts.

It's pathetic, but I'm not sure it's a rant
