  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

I hope the sequel to that happens, think it's got funding problems

I hope it doesn't go the same way as trainspotting 2

I wouldn't mind a session on the couch with Wendy

OJ: Made in America. 3 part documentary on BBC. The first two parts are over 3 hours each. Watched the first over a couple of nights. Been good viewing. Great footage of him in college football and got Buffalo Bills. Didn't realise how good he was. Until he met Nicole Brown you'd have thought he was inline to be first black president such was his popularity with both black & white Americans.

Goes very deep into the social scene of LA at the time and how the LAPD treated the black community without compromise.

aye

watched the first one and half the second one yesterday (4.5 hours in total)

like you, knew he played nfl and was in the naked gun but didn't realise just how big of a star he was over there, and how good at nfl he actually was with that rushing record

got up to the bit about where they selected the jury and it's already clear to see how he got off - black LA felt it was owed one after white folk had been getting off for some time, i.e. Rodney King and that korean woman shooting the black girl in her shop - still, if any other cop had been the officer at the scene and not the one who went on record saying he didn't like blacks, it might've been a different story, but probably not

anyway, if you've not seen it, watch it, it's good

I will second that. Its kind of what Fortitude threatened to be, before going all weird.

Hope it comes back for a 2nd series.

Started it last night, watched 2 episodes. Real time crime investigation in Louisiana. All seems a bit too staged at the minute, but sticking with it.
