March 23, 20179 yr Anyone done Killing Fields? Been told its a good watch. Don't recall seeing it being "approved" on here though. Started it last night, watched 2 episodes. Real time crime investigation in Louisiana. All seems a bit too staged at the minute, but sticking with it.
March 24, 20179 yr Red Nose day.... Martine McCutcheon has injected so much silicone inside her cheeks they look like boils. Her lips don't move when she speaks either, fucking horrible.
March 26, 20179 yr Line of Duty. Returns in style. Gonna start this as my missus raves about it, is it any good? Will I compare it to the shield and be disappointed

March 29, 20179 yr Killing Fields - Season 1. Don't fuckin' bother!! I'm still going to watch season 2 as I'm now intrigued, but not recommending it.
March 29, 20179 yr Walking Dead hotting up. That show's like the Liverpool boom bust graph . . . it starts well, goes a bit flat then begins to peak again before flatness returns. Rinse and repeat. Still, last episode should be a cracker and should set up the big war next series.

Still, last episode should be a cracker and should set up the big war next series. to be honest, I find most box set shows to be like that even game of thrones dips in the middle, and I gave up on Breaking bad halfway through series 2 before kicking off again few years later but agree, the last WD was good, but the previous 4 or 5 reminded me why I stopped watching it in series 2 I know now that next week will be as frustrating as it is enjoyable as we're nowhere near done in tying up the plot lines from this series, and it's the last episode also as if to try and "prove" the above idea that TV shows always dip in the middle, check out this site which is one of my favourites http://graphtv.kevinformatics.com/ put in a tv show and see how people rate individual episodes from each series on IMDB e.g. game of thrones: http://graphtv.kevinformatics.com/tt0944947 I decided not to bother watching Dexter based on the downward spiral from series to series http://graphtv.kevinformatics.com/tt0773262

Mrs loved it
March 29, 20179 yr Watched the last series of Dexter the same time as Breaking Bad. Couldn't be more contrasting. I was a Dexter fan but the last series dreadful. Best series the one with John Lithgow, the Trinity killer.
April 1, 20179 yr Dunno if it's been put anywhere else but recorded and just watched that Rio Ferdinand programme about his Mrs dying and him bringing up the kids. Fuck me sideways that was a difficult programme to watch. Kept thinking that I had to stop watching but really compelling viewing. The tragedies that the other people that he met had been through were horrific. Respected and hated him as a player in equal measure but when you see the human being behind it all.........
April 4, 20179 yr not sure it was worth sitting through 16 mostly dull episodes for however, did enjoy that Walking Dead finale the only frustration being it's ended just as it got going
April 4, 20179 yr not sure it was worth sitting through 16 mostly dull episodes for however, did enjoy that Walking Dead finale the only frustration being it's ended just as it got going My thoughts exactly - this series/season has been a bit shit really, far too slow. Hopefully when the next series/season comes out there will be a bit more action.
April 4, 20179 yr Agreed Very slow The war with the saviours should have been done and dusted by now It started halfway through the previous series
April 4, 20179 yr Unfortunately it's following the comic story. How ridiculous was the tiger jumping on just the bad guys. Then people running round to be shot, A-Team shit.

That bird with the shit haircut, who can't speak properly, who is leader of The Scavengers, needs a right good kick in the cunt as well As for the tiger, how the fuck did one of the baddies not shoot it? April 4, 20179 yr If you missed it, watch The Detectorists. I didn't think it'd be up to much but it's a really lovely, wry, funny treat. Plus music from Johnny Flynn. Didn't mind that Santa Clara Diet either - despite myself.
