That's what I liked about it. Sometimes a show that doesn't have choreographed blamming, or unrealistic story lines etc makes a pleasant change.

I figured she didn't mean it. Would've been better if she had and we'd been hoodwinked all along.

My read is she only realised in that last scene (on the prison visit) that he did indeed suffer from the personality disorder that she thought he only used in his defence to get a manslaughter verdict instead of murder. He actually thought she really did mean it when she asked him to "smash the face in" of the rapist, in a jokey sort of way when they were in bed.

That's how I read it too; although we discussed the possibility that she might have realised he was a butter and utilised it for her benefit.

In the end that's why it was good; threw up legal implications etc. Anyhow the rapist deserved it.

I enjoyed it (first series) and am just about to start watching the second series this week  -  as pointed out by Traf, the first series could have been condensed into a couple of fewer episodes

Case, an Icelandic thriller ain't bad. CH4.

Watched Stranger Things a while back.  Not too bad and Wynona Ryder was pretty good in it.

 

Not seen the Walking Dead since it came back on.  Much as I like it I'm not that arsed; needs to start picking up the pace for me.   Good show, great settings, well acted but the writing and/or editing can be pretty poor imo.
