  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Band of Brothers a different level to the Pacific imo

Id agree with that. Makes you care much more for the characters all through the series. Got Damian Lewis as well and a terrific cast with loads of now well known British actors popping up. Had watched it a few times and never realised the likes of Tom Hardy, Marc Warren,Moriarty from Sherlock, simon pegg, Stephen Graham,Michael Fassbender and even Dexter Fletcher were in it!

Watch Pacific first. It’s good, but Band of Brothers is definitely better.

Yeah I'd watch them that way round too.

Despite Pacific being pretty good it feels like a let down after BOB.

On the frontline off BBC iplayer.  A documentary about the incredibly brave and heroic folk who were RUC officers.  Very moving

Has anyone stuck with Vikings, massive episode last week.

I felt disappounted with it myself. I kept expecting a twist or a betrayal to be revealed but it never happened. I'd had enough of Ivar the Boneless by the end of the previouse series as well.

Yknow what I’ve never seen Band of Brothers of The Pacific. Think I’ll give them a go.

band of brothers is in my top 5

Band of Brothers; kind of lets us know how America won the war but still great telly.

Based on testimony of actual folk, so fair enough. Great tv, and music.

Got band of brothers on Blu-ray well worth it for the extras interviews with the old soldiers ( in the episodes they are cut short at the start ) and you can watch it also as a  sort of pop up  we’re they talk through the scene and what actually happened who did what who got killed as the episode goes a long  . Put band of brothers up there with the wire and sopranos

Homeland back for one last series

Right Band of Brothers it is

Finished The Stranger last night, best series I've ever seen, and I'm including that against The Wire.

Plenty of scenes in Bolton. The kids party in the woods in Egerton, police station scenes in Le Mans Crescent and inside the old police station, foot chase outside the old Benjamin Topps pub, but suddenly seemed to change to Rochdale Town Centre.

Also last episode, police racing to the scene with the blue lights on, they were just up and down that cobbled street at the back of Le Mans Crescent.

Got a bit of a thing for the actress that played Janice Garvey in Benidorm, knocking on a bit but so am I.

Like the series but she does fuck all for me. Different strokes and all that.

Finally finished Dracula last night

Really enjoyed it

Great adaptation of it and saw none of it coming, the guy playing Dracula was very good, and plenty gory as well
