Sweep Posted November 4 Posted November 4 binge watched 3 Body Problem on Netflix this weekend, I still can't decide if I liked it or not - it did get a bit confusing for a while. Mrs Sweep still doesn't have a clue what was happening in it Quote
Moderators Zico Posted November 8 Moderators Posted November 8 Watched Until I Kill You this week, then the documentary that followed (ITV) Great acting from the main two And it's got one half of Les Alanos in it Haven't heard of John Sweeney before but the artwork he did to depict his murders and fantasies, which were then used to convict him, puts him in the top tier of serial killers for me Quote

It's really good. You end up wanting Eddie Redmayne to succeed even though he's the "baddie".... Not seen Panam, but have watched The Tomorrow War. It's far fetched but an easy watch.... Quote

Duck Egg Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Just watched the 3 parter documentary, Lucan on BBC. Bloke who discovered his real mum was the nanny Lord Lucan murdered and his search for what happened to LL afterwards. I'll say nowt more but it's fascinating and definitely worth a watch. Quote
Marc505 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Put it on the films thread by mistake but Terror On The Tube on 4 about the killing of John Charles de Menezes has been a really strange watch. One of the police who shot him has described it in pretty graphic detail, and I'm not really sure what the aim of the program is here Quote

The discrediting of the police will be 90% of their aim. Leftie mouthpiece. Justice for Chris Kaba and all that. Exactly what he got. Quote

Marc505 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 21 minutes ago, bolty58 said: I'll take your word for it mate. Was quite a strangely framed documentary really. One of the two shooters has waived anonymity for it and described the whole operation and the atmosphere around London following 7/7 and 21/7, and explained how they went charging after this guy on the tube based on virtually no intelligence and an extremely grainy photograph that he'd "only looked at for about three seconds" I think were his words. His account of the actual shooting differs from how it was reported in court as well, and then he talks about how awful it was to have to have bits of this blokes brain and skull all over his face and body for hours after. Just a strange program, not sure what it was hoping to achieve. Quote
Whitestar Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I bet the 2nd part isn't as good as last night, i had forgotten about the explosions on the underground and only remembered the bus, also the failed attempts, did they ever catch any of them?? Quote
